nothing special?? The McLaren F1 held the top speed record for many years before the current top speed king dethroned it. It's the only streetcar in the world with a central seating position, I'd say its one of the most significant supercars ever
The f1 looks tame next to the rest, but that and the F40 are hands down my all time favs.

Aren't cars supposed to advance with technology. How come there car/cars didnt. I think they're ugly all around compared to real exotic supercars. There is nothing special at all about McLarens. Who buys these jokers to keep them in business.
That green car really cut down the frontal area. Looks like its made for high speed.
The F1 is so far the only McLaren I like, P1 might be the second. I still dislike the 12C though.

@Dylan your very right dylan the 12c is PROBABLY the best car of the year because like phil yes a gallardo is beutiful i admit it but the 12c can be a everyday go to work car to a sports car in no time so yes the 12c would be a better choice.
I'll take the mclaren over the lamborghini; some people don't understand why
Phil, the 12c is both quicker and faster, and just to throw this in there has better fuel economy, than all the types of gallardos. It is also more exotic and I believe to be MUCH better looking, so please tell me why you would buy a gallardo when you could buy a 12c.
For $240k you can have a lambo gallardo. Who in there right minds would choose this.

Other than the funky front spoiler the one on the left looks awesome. It's like a missile.
So a 12c gt3 as a toy, a 12c Spyder for every day, a p1 for special occasions and an f1 as a classic. That will do nicely.
I love the MP4-12C but ya gotta take it down a notch, especially when you always complain about other people being fanboys.

@Malachi it wasn't designed to be beautiful. It was designed in a wind tunnel. It was made to be the most aerodynamic car in the world. Proportion and loveliness don't matter at that point. Now go troll and hate somewhere else.

Mike, they're reviewing the car, not the company. Secondly, I reckon this is the kind of car that would give all three 'the fizz', so don't predict so cynically, so soon.
I can as historically clarkson hates on Mclaren, Ricahard will compare it to a Ferrari and James will say it does not give him the fizz.....Funny because those Brits seem to forget that Mclaren is one British company that is completely self-sufficient.
