Earier this month we reported that Hennessey opened a can of Texas whoop ass when it announced that its Venom GT had just set a new Guinness World Record by going from 0-300 km/h (186.4 mph) in just 13.63 seconds. An official video is now out showing the event. The Venom GT also set a new unofficial acceleration record of 0-200 mph in only 14.51 seconds, breaking the Koenigsegg Agera R's record of 17.68 seconds. That's exactly 3.17 secs slower.
