Zaire WilkinsJan 22, 2013 The question is will it have character like the 97 M3 and 03 M3. The best ones ever made
William ChongJan 22, 2013 M5 rear, M5 rims, M4 side, M1 bumper, and worst of all E90 side mirrors.
As fake as it gets.
William ChongJan 22, 2013 It's not leaked guys.
This is just a rendering.
Sam HarrisJan 22, 2013 I just looked at the numbers of the v8 that what is the last gen M3. The I6 that's being put in the new m3 is an absolute monster. I'm glad the I6 is Back, it's going to put the last gen m3 to shame.
Sam HarrisJan 22, 2013 I never thought that the v8 belonged in the E92.
Jeffrey FrankJan 22, 2013 I love my N54 and in a more nimble chassis with more boost it'd be even better.
Luke PurdyJan 22, 2013 Going back to traditional roots with an I6.... I have no problem with this
Ashton SummersJan 22, 2013 Just don't pipe exhaust through the speakers. It's just weird.
Jorge Luis FernandezJan 22, 2013 @marcus...considering the fact that you have to insult someone to get your point across your not that bright of a person....anyway I've never been a fan of turbos I love a big engine that can create power without forced induction..it's my opinion bud
Marcus EspinetaJan 22, 2013 @jorge you are an idiot....enough said
Marcus EspinetaJan 22, 2013 The i6 tt is def better than the v8....better power to weight and mpg. Plus I love the sound of a blow off valve!!!! What cars other than c63 amg and s5 whats its competition?
Daniel EadsJan 22, 2013 I'm actually glad they went back to the l6 because it sets it apart from the others in the segment.
Petro MaaloufJan 22, 2013 Will always be one of the best in its category with the c63 and the rs5
Lou GuerreroJan 22, 2013 Overall balance is what makes a good M car.
Lou GuerreroJan 22, 2013 Shane, roots for an M3 is a high strung 4 cylinder.
Aaron CrispJan 22, 2013 My brothers old 3 series had a inline 6 and that thing could really whip around. I was surprised.
Shane CarrollJan 22, 2013 BMW was using the I6 for years before they even considered the V8, it's not downsizing it's returning to the car's roots. I6s are torquey little jokers, no complaints here
David GuerreroJan 22, 2013 Oh man, I really do hope toyota actually tries to join with BMW to make the supra using the M3 base and engine.
Matt PaunickaJan 22, 2013 Wow, I'm loving the torque. Such an improvement. That was the biggest weak point to me in the current M3. Also now that it is already turbocharged, aftermarket tuning will be cheaper and easier. I'm digging this M3.
Joe LamoukJan 22, 2013 The E92 was just an exception (as well as the M5 E60 or the old M6), BMW went back to a 6 cyl. engine, like on the E46 and the E36. Maybe someday they'll even use only 4 cylinders, just like on the E30.
Jacob LerklintJan 22, 2013 @Jorge
Wrong, its a straight six not a v6
David EslavaJan 22, 2013 Jorge I was about to say the same. I feel like V12's/10's/8's will be anecdotes anytime soon. It's really sad.
Jorge Luis FernandezJan 22, 2013 Wow I'm really hating all these down sizings m6 is now a v8 n now this v8 car using a v6 I know they have more power but I'm now a big fan of the down sizing at all
Ray MorenoJan 23, 2013 No more v8 :c guess its return to the v6 for the m3. I don't know about those side ducts they look a little toooo "busy" for me. I'll reserve my judgment for the M4 though cant wait for that.
Darryle MoodyJan 23, 2013 If you look at the hood and the PowerDome and flanking extractors, the light appears not real. And the play on light across the hood looks disingenuous at the very least. Not real people, nothing to see so move along.
William ChongJan 22, 2013 M5 rear, M5 rims, M4 side, M1 bumper, and worst of all E90 side mirrors.
As fake as it gets.
William ChongJan 22, 2013 It's not leaked guys.
This is just a rendering.
Aislin CooperJan 22, 2013 I wish it had more of an M5 front bumper as opposed to the 1M bumper
Serge PankratovJan 22, 2013 I honestly think the best looking M3 is the E92. The E46 is more fun to drive imo, but looks and power, the E92 is superior. And i understand that with the new M3 going TT on a I6 motor will produce more torque and all, im just anti turbo. Go figure.
Seamus CroweJan 22, 2013 I love the m3 but I don't know what BMW was thinking with the connecting kidney grilles and headlights.
William DownsJan 22, 2013 Friend sold his S2K to buy an E92 M3, not even a yr later he sold it to get another S2K, said it wasn't as good as people said it was around a track, he also had a lot of work in his S2K... but only BMW I would ever buy is a E46 m3.. everything else they make just looks Boring to me
Matt PiccoloJan 22, 2013 Damn, that looks so flippen good! Damn, good job BMW!
Aiden BassJan 22, 2013 For the money, I'd get two E46's... Think about that....
James SalabaJan 22, 2013 Another ugly BMW! They will never built anything better then e46 m3!
Tanton StonemanJan 22, 2013 I like it better than the normal 3-Series
Jared OteriJan 22, 2013 M3 badge in the grill should of been saved for the m4 cause the m6 has it but I don't think the m6 gc does....... Or does it? Lol fuck
Luke PurdyJan 22, 2013 @Serge but this will absolutely smoke the current m3. Finally it has some torque
Alex BouckleyJan 22, 2013 I actual like the 1M style front end. It looks nice
Janak SolankiJan 22, 2013 I have to agree with u guys on the E46 looked really good. This one does too, but I doesn't blow me away.
Scuttle ButtocksJan 22, 2013 @David yea I know... Just that the normal 4 series looks like an M3, and a normal 3 series doesn't look like any of them, well, the 4 series already looks like an M and yea
Adam WielandJan 22, 2013 Really liking this but have to agree that the E46 is the best one as well as the E36 but nonetheless this looks great and I'm sure it will still be a great drivers car
Kyle RawnJan 22, 2013 For sure Dan. E46 was the best.
Pablo HerasmeJan 22, 2013 I think this is a cleaner design than the M5
Dylan BruderJan 22, 2013 They finally changed the m bumper that said I'm still not a fan
David GrayJan 22, 2013 VVVV That's because the 4-Series is the coupe variant of the 3-Series now
Scuttle ButtocksJan 22, 2013 Looks a lot like the 4 series... In a good way.
Cezary KoralJan 22, 2013 Agreed @carlos, if anything Lexus copied BMW
And it does look sexy
And finally it has some torque
Mike CarbaughJan 22, 2013 Don't like the color but the styling looks great
Carlos Ernesto GarciaJan 22, 2013 @ Justin, since this is based off of the current 3-series and the previous M3, which both came out before most of Lexus' new designs this is not a copy of Lexus
Paul GladmanJan 22, 2013 BEST LOOKIN M3 EVER!!!!!!
Description: Other advanced features we already know about include lightweight aluminum body parts, BMW M Carbon Ceramic brakes, and a unique aerodynamics kit. More details will doubtless surface as we get closer ...Add Comments4
Darryle MoodyJan 23, 2013 There is nothing new here either. The tradition of quad pipes almost centered that started with the E36/7 m Roadster is not done very well.
Lee OleinickJan 23, 2013 Another yawner from the folks @ BMW
Zaire WilkinsJan 23, 2013 Those tailights just look updated from the last gen
William ChongJan 22, 2013 This is just a rendering.
M5 rear, M5 rims, M4 side, M1 bumper, and worst of all E90 side mirrors.
As fake as it gets.
Aislin CooperJan 22, 2013 Wish it had the central quad exhaust instead
Carter FellowsJan 22, 2013 The back looks ode identical to the M5
John AlverezJan 22, 2013 This car looks amazing. Brilliant job
Jon AshleyJan 22, 2013 nothing out of the ordinary, thats for sure. But, it looks great. Actually better than the e90 in my opinion.
Carlos Ernesto GarciaJan 22, 2013 Yea why isn't the exhaust where it was on the e46 and e90?
Alex RenaudJan 22, 2013 And I miss the more inboard placement of the dual exhaust from the E46 M3.
Alex RenaudJan 22, 2013 I like how a line carries from the tail light all the way to the vent on the quarter panel, creating a scallop through the doors. But I do not like the front.
Alex RenaudJan 22, 2013 @ Luke: Give the guy a break. The tail lights on the current 3, 5, 6 GC, and 7 series resemble each other quite a bit (especially at first glance).
Puneet DassJan 22, 2013 That looks great. Bmw never goes wrong with their 3 series
Matt PiccoloJan 22, 2013 Damn, looks awesome! Love this!
Luke PurdyJan 22, 2013 @Mark. Really mark? Really?
Tj MartenJan 22, 2013 I actually like the side vents
captdewaltJan 22, 2013 they finally made the m3 sedan look right vs being lame compared to the coupe
Paul GladmanJan 22, 2013 i hated the looks of the E92 sedan, even as a sedan it looks much better than the E92 coupe. i cant wait to see what the M4 looks like
Derek SoanesJan 24, 2013 @elvis Did you pull that money out of your ass to buy the gt500
Nick StiJan 23, 2013 Elvis seems like a troll based on his previous comments. He's hating pretty much everything. Anyways, this and the E46 are my favorite generations of the M3
Zaire WilkinsJan 23, 2013 Cars like the ZL1 and GT500 im not impressed by if i happen to see one
Redge DiakitéJan 23, 2013 @Elvis your car is garbage compared to this even if you say "my car goes 200mph or it accelerates faster" it won't handle like the M3 ;)
Elvis FordJan 23, 2013 Just a 12 gt500. That's all
Chris KuyumdzhyanJan 23, 2013 @Elvis so what amazing car do you drive?
The question is will it have character like the 97 M3 and 03 M3. The best ones ever made
M5 rear, M5 rims, M4 side, M1 bumper, and worst of all E90 side mirrors. As fake as it gets.

It better be manual.
Who cares
