jenni_drivesJan 23, 2013 Wouldn't you rather know how much it has?
JB KolodJan 23, 2013 How much power is the reventon supposed to have?
Description: As a gentle reminder, Lamborghini made just 15 Reventon Roadsters, which has the 6.5-liter V12 engine from the SuperVeloce and styling cribbed from an F-22 Raptor fighter jet. Seeing one on the road i...Add Comments47
Kevin MorrisJan 29, 2013 Wow I'm a man who love American muscle cars, but the "Can't believe I'm going to say this" but the GT-R did win the Drag Race series. GT-R 2 wins to Lamborghini 1 win. Facts don't lie.
Stephanie LamzaJan 24, 2013 Although the lambo is a beautiful and fast machine the GTR has all my love. Best bang for the buck and it's a daily driver. I drive mine every day!
Andrew GeorghionJan 24, 2013 Next time use a tuned unrestricted superbike with launch control,
In the real world ,in town a scooter would kill the cars,
All in all the Gtr is a great machine, I'd take the Lamborghini ,
Not as common and more vulgar haha
Brian HowardJan 24, 2013 Best looking modern Lamborghini
Moe SalimJan 24, 2013 Does the Lamborghini driver won a cookie lol at the end said he won, that GTR took all the win and much Cheaper then the Lamborghini
Jhoan DelimaJan 24, 2013 Tuned to just 580?...and was still able to keep up with the reventon?...wow, if it was tuned in the same aspect of the Lambo, the GTR would win that rolling start...
Josh VanderdoelenJan 23, 2013 They need a better tripod, the camera is so shaky in all their videos
Tanton StonemanJan 23, 2013 @Jace, the Bizzarini 6.5 V12 is what he means. They came up with a whole new engine for the Aventador. I miss it too...
Tanton StonemanJan 23, 2013 How much did you say you spent on that Revénton? Over a million? Watch it be absolutely raped by my 100,000$ GT-R.
Paolo PreziosoJan 23, 2013 I'm pretty sure that there were 15 reventons and only 5 roadsters.
Ben AugustJan 23, 2013 The Ducatti driver sucked. Bikes own 0-30, 0-60, and lots of them the 1/4 mile (as evidenced by 136mph). Regardless, this is why you should have launch control. Not having it, is like using 2 tin cups and a string, instead of a phone.
Lou GuerreroJan 23, 2013 I love the dry clutch sound at idle on the Duc at the beginning. Such unique bikes.
Nodnarb YdilJan 23, 2013 Preston, the Reventon also has all wheel drive. And I'm sure it's equipped with a launch control as well. The GTR's advantage was probably in weight
Preston MingJan 23, 2013 why didnt they get an Aventador?! AWD and launch control..woulda stroked the gtr..and why get a bike that's tapped at 180..plenty of other bikes that exceed 200..
Jace FehlmanJan 23, 2013 The aventador roadster has a V12 engine.
Pablo HerasmeJan 23, 2013 I miss the wail of the old lambo v12's thats the only reason I don't like the Aventador as much.
Drew StorrustenJan 23, 2013 That was kinda cool with the rolling start, but no match from a dead spot. Hahaha. All 3 were bad a$$ especially that Ducati.
Matthew MazzarelliJan 23, 2013 Don't care who wins, Reventon looks sick.
Tyler TarboxJan 23, 2013 I love both these cars. GT-R and Reventon would make for an ideal two car garage
Serge PankratovJan 23, 2013 Hmmmm good race id say. And i believe that exclusivity is a bit overpriced nowadays, although id pay every penny for the Reventon :)
Dave StewartJan 23, 2013 Yea it can only win if its rolling lol
Haoliang LiJan 23, 2013 Think Lamborghini as a heavy tank and GT-R as a tank destroyer.
Dylan BruderJan 23, 2013 The gtr won 2 of three why rerace?! And I miss the wail of the old Lamborghini v12s the adventador doesn't sound as good as this
Louisji EugeneJan 23, 2013 That Ducati 848 wold nuke both asses that gtr was tuned and the lambo... Well I was expecting a better performance
Westly BurgosJan 23, 2013 Ill take the Ducati! Wouldn't take much and that pass at 180 would have never happened. Plus, it's a Ducati, and costs about $70k less than the GTR.
Eric MichalakJan 23, 2013 I would take a reventon over two gt-rs. That thing is sick.
Roggina FrogginaJan 23, 2013 We all saw that coming... But the rolling start win was impressive.
Douglas GoncalvesJan 23, 2013 Supercar with a price tag of $1mil. Supercar killer with a price tag under $200k (including modifications). Car costing much less gets the most performance. Something just doesn't seem right. Is exclusivity worth that much? Much respect to the GT-R!
Anders SchrøderJan 23, 2013 They really had to come up with something that could make the Lamborghini look worth it's status. I don't know how you race for fun, but I typically go from full stop side by side. That's the most challenging IMO.
Julian PilinciJan 23, 2013 No surprises... the GTR won again.
Daniel CarvalhoJan 23, 2013 The GT-R has an awesome acceleration, so I think it isn't so unfair to race it against the Reventon.
Matt PiccoloJan 23, 2013 Yea that doesn't look like a 2013, or even 2012 gtr. They should re-race using a 13'
Pablo HerasmeJan 23, 2013 People the GTR wasn't made for drag races much less geared for that, so give it that and stop being butthurt
Zaire WilkinsJan 23, 2013 Wow they made me think it was a 13 GTR
Daniel AnglevikJan 23, 2013 Really like it when they go from a rolling start. Thats how it will be on a street.
Just imagine how fast an Aventador is compared to a stock GT-R (550hp)
David KoertingJan 23, 2013 It's refreshing to see a GTR get beat, even if if was a race from a roll.
Jennarong MuengtaweepongsaJan 23, 2013 @Nawwaf looks a little biased that you said to tune the gtr to match it because your pic is of a gtr…
Roberto MenendezJan 27, 2013 The z dose not handle like the gtr lmao this is a awd and its just better.
William DownsJan 24, 2013 A Nissan Z does not handle better then a gtr, that's just crazy talk to even think Nissan would have a lower model car handle better then there top performance model
Pablo HerasmeJan 23, 2013 Yup some extensive chassis adjustments are needed, to sustain to increase in power.
Justin JohnsonJan 24, 2013 I don't see how they will make a Streetfighter from the 1199 now since there is no chassis. It is horrendous naked but gorgeous with the fairings on and an engineering masterpiece.
William DownsJan 24, 2013 Only reason I wouldn't get the street fighter is cause my current bike is a naked one, I love the looks and still love riding it but long trips are annoying without the wind protection... but then street fighter just looks so damn good
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Yeah as long as your strict on the maintenece that last along time, that maintenance becomes very expensive when u ride all the time cause your racking mile... like I said if it was a strict track bike or if I had the spare money I would get a panigali or the street fighter in a heart beat
Justin JohnsonJan 23, 2013 Nock, not in the US. I had the SF locked down, and I was quoted those prices from 3 different dealerships. I ran away. One Duc 7500 mile service price will cover oil, filter, tires, chain, sprockets, an Outback Steakhouse trip, and $300 leftover.
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Clocked over 8k in 7months*
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Nick if I had the money or wanted a track only bike I would get a ducati, but there not as reliable as the others and parts cast a lot more, I wanna ride my bike everyday and not have to worry about it, I've already clocked well over 8k on my brand new bike, 0 problems... everyone I know that owned a duc said it was the best bike they had till it came to fixing something, cost of ownership is why...
Carlton Sofocusedon GreenJan 23, 2013 @Nick thats the problem tho. You have to goto the "stealership" for parts n labor. I tune my Suzuki in my garage. Parts are easy to find too.
Author Norman R. ColsonJan 23, 2013 I like hayabusa's for the looks... For me it's all about looking good in style
Justin JohnsonJan 23, 2013 another $60-70k on it.
Just wait until you see what Honda and Suzuki are coming out with next year. A street legal MotoGP/CRT bike. The glory days of the S1RR and ZX are limited. Probably at the cost of a Ducati RR.
Justin JohnsonJan 23, 2013 MotoGP/WSBK/AMA is one thing, stock/lightly modded street bikes are another thing. MGP is purpose built. SBK probably might use a couple other pieces than the frame and with the closest thing to the street bike is AMA. They take a $13k and spend
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Yet with all that it still was the top performing bike in the last season of moto go, besides Yamaha have always been low on power and a little heavier but it not that huge of a difference between it and its competition, nothing a decent rider can't make up for, r1 is still one of the best track bikes u can buy today
Justin JohnsonJan 23, 2013 I respect everyone's views, but the R1, at least in its major update in 2009 has been lackluster. It's overweight, it's down on power compared to the competition, and the MPG is down roughly 15-25% compared to a majority of the other bikes.
Douglas GoncalvesJan 23, 2013 This is the Ferrari of motorcycles. It's got the looks, performance, exclusivity, and lets not forget insanely high cost of maintenance.
Jesse JalapenoJan 23, 2013 Favorite bike company right here
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Crossplane is a monster engine, all the benefits of an inline 4 and a v-twin in one motor, monster torque down low, smooth top end power with a very large rpm range, I keep wanting to put one in my FZ8, swap the forks for some r1 and I have a naked r1 for a lot less
Shane CarrollJan 23, 2013 I'd want an R1 just because it's quite possibly the meanest sounding street bike I've ever heard. But I still want an RC8 just cause
Justin JohnsonJan 23, 2013 I almost bought a 2012 Streetfighter 1098S. Every 7500 miles, that's an interval, at $1000-$1500 a pop. Opted for the Gix1.
William DownsJan 23, 2013 Nvm that first part I swore he said heel guard. I. Drunk back to sleep
William DownsJan 23, 2013 There not from his heel guards, if his heel guards are grinding the ground his is eating pavment, that from his knee pads and toe guards on his boots... I would buy an r1 before a duc... just because the duc is like sitting on a 2x4 and maintenece cost are crazy.. but if I was buying a bike just for track 1198 would deffinatly be my choice
Wouldn't you rather know how much it has?
How much power is the reventon supposed to have?
