Wow, are you guys serious? You're pathetic, thrashing on because he has an opinion? He said the ones he's BEEN in, felt cheap, So no, he probably hasn't been in a GT, but he never claimed to, shiit.. You don't need to get mad about everything you kno
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
Jack ever actually drive a Ford GT ? I think not from your stupid comments .
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Jack the B****** everyone. Why would you come on a ford article and say you hate them... You're asking for an argument. Everyone has their favorite brand and opinions. Take yours to another article.
Jake Trumbull Feb 27, 2013
Agree with Shelby and noah
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Not a fan of ford
Victor Pitts Feb 27, 2013
I'm sure they'll make another one.
Shelby Cassandra Feb 27, 2013
Was never meant to evolve. While I agree that it would be cool to see more GT's, it just isn't meant to be.
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
I wish the GT would have stayed in production and evolved
Description: Our journey starts with the Mach III concept that debuted at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show. Technically it was a Mustang concept, and its styling foreshadowed the jellybean Mustang that followed. But its...

Is that a mustang😂 thats awsome
Tyler Benoit Mar 01, 2013
It looks like someone inflated a mustang with a bicycle pump...
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
One of the dumbest front ends I've ever seen!
Dale Schroeder Feb 28, 2013
It looks like a marshmallow on wheels.
Mike Conrad Feb 28, 2013
Must have been a collaboration with Powerwheels.
Tyler Chmieleski Feb 28, 2013
Second only to the Fiat Multipla in ugliness
Bill Estep Jr Feb 28, 2013
Yes author
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
Kill it with fire!!!!!!! nooooooooooooooooowwww
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
God this is so ugly and not a supercar !
Ashton Summers Feb 27, 2013
I actually want a fox body mustang as a beater fun car.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Miachel Jackson, da fuq?
Dylan Bruder Feb 27, 2013
That's pretty bad
Jackson Michael Feb 27, 2013
Also, they look like a sautéed pile of shit with a diarrhea drizzle on the top
Shelby Cassandra Feb 27, 2013
@David. 100% true. 10-15k in mods to a fox body is almost a guaranteed 9 second car with a halfway decent driver. Unbelievable potential with them.
Lucas Raggio Feb 27, 2013
That looks terrible
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
To everybody hating on the fox body. Those were some damn good cars. As old as they are I still see a lot if then driving around in nice shape. They were light an had a V8. They dominate my local drag strip on a Friday night. make decent SCCA cars 2
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Noah, how does this not look like a mustang of its time? 93' was the last year of the fox body Stang. This was unveiled in 93' and looks a lot like a 94' mustang. I'd say the 94' mustang got a lot of its design from this concept.
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
That looks ancient
Jordan Nishida Feb 27, 2013
This is so funny how this car looks
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
Looks like or of the cars from CARS lol
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
WTF Ford
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Time*
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Doesn't look like a mustang of its ime
Scuttle Buttocks Feb 27, 2013
Ahh no
Jackson Michael Feb 27, 2013
Just why. Somehow it's even worse than the fox bodies of that era
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
bmw side mirrors...?
Rico Turner Feb 27, 2013
This concept sucked, even for the time...I saw this in person and as a kid thought it was horrible.
Adam Thomson Feb 27, 2013
Which it is
Adam Thomson Feb 27, 2013
Looks like a mustang to me..
Alex Walker Feb 27, 2013
Looks like a cheap plastic toy car
Tim Preisinger Feb 27, 2013
I actually laughed out loud when I saw this
Victor Pitts Feb 27, 2013
Horrible! Lol
Shelby Cassandra Feb 27, 2013
I'll bet this thing hauls. Look at those tires.
Rueben J Yslas Feb 27, 2013
Can anybody say bloated?
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
No sir
Carlos Eduardo Gaviria Feb 27, 2013
I don't know how I ended up with a 1/18 scale maisto of this weird car
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
from the great 60's to this... what happened? thank God for the new GT500!!!!
Tyler Tarbox Feb 27, 2013
Definitely don't like this at all
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
This is what happens when 93' Camaro meets 93' mustang. Get a good look at the pointy hood and front end
Bruce Tumblin Feb 27, 2013
No Ford, no!
Oscar Galvan Feb 27, 2013
For 1993 I think this is pretty good not great but good
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
What a mess!
Ryan Lopez Feb 27, 2013
This sums up the 90s
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
I was really just tryin to joke since everyone always hates on the vette interior
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
Um cheap and fugly
Jason Ware Feb 27, 2013
Ummm.. How are you supposed to adjust the rearview mirror?
Jason Ware Feb 27, 2013
Sweet vintage wheel and matching wood grain shift knob
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Jack I think Justin meant... Better than a vette of the same year. Not better than a brand new 2014 vette.
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
Be in the shop more***
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
I love ferrari its one of my favorite carmakers but i cant justify an extra 200k for a little nicer interior, engine that makes 2500rmp more but makes WAY less torque and is gonna be in the shop less, all for some exclusitivity. Oh and no manual -.-
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
@Jack i was obviously kidding as you already know i love the viper and vette. I dont see any problem with either of their interiors. Youre paying 100k not 300k its obviously not gonna be the same as a ferrari. Oh wait! the Vipers seats are
James Henry Feb 27, 2013
Jack your obviously blind and haven't seen the new viper
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
fix the steering wheel and instrument panel and its good. oh, and that disgusting suede
Justin Routh Feb 27, 2013
Better than the Vette
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
It looks cheap
Victor Pitts Feb 27, 2013
Suede... Mother of God...
Tyler Tarbox Feb 27, 2013
Worst interior ever? No not at all. Yeah its not super nice but it's retro and cool
Daniel Finstad Feb 27, 2013
Definitely wish my '03 had those gauges.
Jake Dula Feb 27, 2013
Oh my god, that's the worst interior I've ever seen, hands down.
Tyler Tarbox Feb 27, 2013
Pretty cool interior though

Tj Marten Feb 27, 2013
Yea like the new mustang concept. Tryin to make it astonish
Daniel Eads Feb 27, 2013
If anything ford is using more Astonesque designs, not jaguar.
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
But they still use designs that are jaguar based.
William Downs Feb 27, 2013
Ford sold off jaguar and land rover to tata motors in 2008
Peter Mark Gacek Feb 27, 2013
If I'm not mistaken, 8+8=16, not 12 Carbuzz.
Daniel Eads Feb 27, 2013
Unless I'm mistaken, ford sold of jaguar a while ago.
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Ford needs to stop associating with Jaguar. It doesn't seem right.
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
This was a far fetched concept
Shelby Cassandra Feb 27, 2013
@Robert. The Mclaren F1 only had 630 or something and that went even faster.
Ben Norton Feb 27, 2013
It's not all power. Weight, aero, and mostly gearing play into top speed. 720 is a hell of a lot of power
Robert Young Feb 27, 2013
I think a car needs more than 720 hp to do 235mph
Chris Mallinson Feb 27, 2013
40mph top speed..! Remember seeing this on topgear back in the 90's it could only do 4ph and the wheel came off during filming
Sam Oglesby Feb 27, 2013
They should have built this and should definitely now
Frankie Deanda Mar 02, 2013
That looks soooo familer
Ben August Mar 01, 2013
I remember this from Gran Turismo 2 haha
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
Way over done
Scott Zimmerman Feb 28, 2013
Looks like a straightedged version of Michael J fox drew this.
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
@nick, let me guess it cost too much to make right? I don't see how everyone can buy a production lambo but an American company cannot produce one for less and have it sell. Like I said. They play it safe
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
@jesse that would be a great idea, but Ford doesnt want to step their game up they play it safe. i imagine if someone younger was in charge of ford motors they might renew interest in the project.
Jesse Andersen Feb 28, 2013
They really missed out on some CASH. This would've turned Americans off of the Italian dream if we produced things like this.
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
This car should have been put into production, why make the damn thing but not put it for sale or at least a track car or something? it's so beautiful...
Jordan Smith Feb 27, 2013
This was horrendous to me. I never liked it.
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
This should have been a production model .
Jason Ware Feb 27, 2013
I just wet myself
Colby Church Feb 27, 2013
I really like it.
Dylan Bruder Feb 27, 2013
This was alright theres a similar one I like more cant remember what it was
Matt Piccolo Feb 27, 2013
This is awesome!
Lucas Raggio Feb 27, 2013
That's bad
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
Potential with the exemption for the 13" low rider wheels!
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
@Alex it looks awkward because it doesn't look like a ford
Alex Smith Feb 27, 2013
The ford badge looks awkward on this
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
the rear quarter panels look awkward, but maybe its just the pov
Alex Walker Feb 27, 2013
Amazing!
Victor Pitts Feb 27, 2013
That's what I'm talking about!
Joe Hero Feb 27, 2013
I have the Hot Wheels of this xD
David Gomez Feb 27, 2013
This car + ford GT headlights = 1 bad ass car
Sam Oglesby Feb 27, 2013
Great car never made could have been a true great
Ivan Gomez Feb 27, 2013
To me it looks just like the concept VW W-12
Jordan Nishida Feb 27, 2013
One of the best ford concepts
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
love it!
Tyler Tarbox Feb 27, 2013
Would've made a great hyper car
Tyler Wallace Feb 27, 2013
I always love this car
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
This is a concept, of it made it into production it would've probably looked even better.
Preston Harris Feb 27, 2013
I remember this in Ford Racing 2 best car ever
Zachary Fix Feb 27, 2013
They should have made that
Oscar Galvan Feb 27, 2013
The front is ok but the backend is UGLY!
Oscar Galvan Feb 27, 2013
This would have been interesting to say the least
Frankie Deanda Mar 02, 2013
That exsaust looks like the pagani zondas
Jacob Burges Feb 28, 2013
Looks like a skull
Scotty Gee Feb 27, 2013
@Trent, that's comic genius!
Colby Church Feb 27, 2013
The back could definitely use some work.
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
Squares triangles.....clovers....it's magically delicious.
Josh C. Williams Feb 27, 2013
I love the tail lights to death! This and the 1975 Dome Zero were always the cars I thought were mysterious on Sega GT2002
Elias Harb Feb 27, 2013
This is bullshit. The front is ok though but this is too crowded.
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
I don't like the tail lights
Kent Huynh Feb 27, 2013
The exhaust is pretty epic though.
Ian Barger Feb 27, 2013
I used this car all the time in NFS
Aaron Crisp Feb 27, 2013
I see where David is coming from.
Marco Tomaselli Feb 27, 2013
Lmao, for a second I thought those big square holes were the exhaust. Not bad though for an old concept
Victor Pitts Feb 27, 2013
@Brittany, copy that.
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
I'm with ms. Sawyer on this Of course this was 20ish years ago right?
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
...not from this angle though
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Emilio, no crap. Just saying it looks similar. Maybe Lexus got the idea from this.
Tyler Wallace Feb 27, 2013
This car is from the 90s how does it have LFA exhaust
Pierre E Jean Feb 27, 2013
Omfg this is soo bad lol
Emilio Luelmo' Feb 27, 2013
Really? This car was made years before the LFA.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
LFA exhaust?

Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
@Noah Did you even read Jakes comment!
Noah Roberts Feb 28, 2013
@Jake the v12 vantage had two Mondeo v6s put together to make a v12
Jake Dula Feb 27, 2013
@Noah, uh... They do... It's just the design that was based on the 2 v6s
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Aston Martin needs to make their own engines
Timothy Hubert Feb 27, 2013
The indigo I wish they would have made would have been an awesome car to own
Frankie Deanda Mar 02, 2013
Thats sick man
Eric Michalak Feb 28, 2013
Clean design and doesn't look dated even now. Awesome car.
Adam Thomson Feb 28, 2013
Prowler was after this...
Bill Estep Jr Feb 28, 2013
Futuristic prowler
Jordan Smith Feb 27, 2013
Other than the futuristic robot-like glasses on the front, it looks pretty sweet. Could've been changed a bit to be a Ford version of the Prowler.
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
Cool but not practical for production sadly .
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Noah, no. The prowler looks like this. This came before the prowler.
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
Looks like an X-Bow
Jordan Nishida Feb 27, 2013
Looks like an F1 car
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
This.. I..Iove
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
This looks a lot like a prowler
Aaron Crisp Feb 27, 2013
Ben gf ha this
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Jack rousch owns one of these. There's a YouTube video of it driving. Thing sounds naaaasty
Alex Smith Feb 27, 2013
Chrysler was a big company and they made the prowler. Which they gave crappy power. Ford at least had the right idea.
Craig Lafey Feb 27, 2013
Like those wheels
Alex Walker Feb 27, 2013
Not sure tht those lights would hav worked very well
Joe Hero Feb 27, 2013
Oh Need For Speed on Windows 98, good times, good times...
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
this looks like what the pt cruiser shoulda looked like
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
This looks more F1 inspired to me.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
The indigo debuted in 1996, the prowler came out in 1997. So it's not prowler inspired. The prowler and indigo look similar because they are modern roadsters. It's like 2 sedans looking alike because they have 4 doors.
Oscar Galvan Feb 27, 2013
Prowler inspiration or inspired
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
This is pretty cool!
Dale Fredriks Feb 27, 2013
Hot Wheels car. Just sayin'.
Brittany Sawyer Feb 27, 2013
it needs carbon fiber side skirts
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
The rear was the best looking part of this car .
Jason Ware Feb 27, 2013
Nice butt.
Colby Church Feb 27, 2013
That's pretty sexy.
Jordan Nishida Feb 27, 2013
I would want to see what the engine looks like.
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
Wonderful
Oscar Galvan Feb 27, 2013
Not saying the front isn't good
Greg Kenerly Feb 27, 2013
Yes yes and more yes.

Dylan Bruder Feb 27, 2013
This was cool too
Roberto Morales Apr 20, 2013
This would have brought the cobra back to its former glory if this came in production. This car would have been raceing against Lamborghini and farrari, with it's lightweight chase, v10 and it's bite. This would of shown how farrari is not as strong as the thought they were ,like in the 60s when the cobra were beating farrari at its own game
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
What did they try and do here!
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
I wanted this car since i saw it in XXX2 state of the union... so damn rare. it would definitely been on the street tearing it up. painted in black...
Jonathan Ippolito Feb 27, 2013
This is exactly what Ford needs a competitor for the Viper . Too bad the bean counters at Ford will never build anything like this .
Lucas Raggio Feb 27, 2013
The only good one
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
Trent- Playa plz daz nasty!! Yeah old food, dirty sox, sweaty booty, nasty!!
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
Fugly
Elias Harb Feb 27, 2013
By far the best ford concept.
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
Lights*
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
I don't like the head lignts
Braxton Omgbased Booker Feb 27, 2013
This was on the move TRIPLE X state on the union sounded nasty
Preston Ming Feb 27, 2013
Carroll chose the Aurora based v8, not Alero, because of it's potential. Ford and GM had no say in the Series 1.
Preston Ming Feb 27, 2013
@David..you got it part right..this is a collab with Ford. now to where you are wrong, the Series 1 wasn't a "GM thing". The Series 1 was built in-house at Shelby American..
Adam Thomson Feb 27, 2013
These headlights looks like the ones on the Chrysler 300
Greg Kenerly Feb 27, 2013
Watched this get made on that car show Jason Priestly used to host. The cars name is Daisy. I absolutely love this thing.
Robert Young Feb 27, 2013
Dam u ford for not making this!
Drew Humphrey Feb 27, 2013
I like it
Noah Gavurin Feb 27, 2013
this looks pretty bad
Jake Dula Feb 27, 2013
That's awesome. R.I.P. Carrol Shelby, we'll miss you.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
I would've much preferred this over the Series 1 though. This looks way meaner.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Besides, this was a ford collaboration and the Series 1 was more of a GM thing. It had an S/C Oldsmobile alero drivetrain. That would've been bad for the Shelby name. GM and Ford competing for the same name.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
This wouldn't have sold too well. The Shelby Series 1 looked very similar to this. They both had the Shelby name. The series 1 was produced from 98-05. This came out in 04. So they couldn't be sold at the same time.
Jonathan Romero Feb 27, 2013
This would a been and epic step for ford to have Revived the Shelby cobra, Ford should of known better..
Zachary Fix Feb 27, 2013
What wrong with you ford we know you can make great cars so do it
Jason Ware Feb 27, 2013
The back looks like it was drawn on an etch a sketch
Description: Ford wasn’t done playing retro though, and the following year unveiled the Shelby GR-1 concept. This time the inspiration was drawn from the Shelby Daytona, based on the same chassis and 6.4-liter V10...

This is the one I really liked
Ben August Mar 01, 2013
They should have made this.
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
This is nicer!
Author Norman R. Colson Feb 28, 2013
it's so damn sexy. i think it would sell. ford has some of the boring ass cars besides mustangs. anything else they have is wack. in order to win at the game you gotta take risks... screw the haters.
Jordan Smith Feb 27, 2013
I love this thing. This is what Ford should remake to compete with the Corvette and Viper. It's such an awesome design.
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
I don't care about facts David I just like the pretty car pictures What I was getting at is that there were 2 conflicting years that it was debuted Not that one was right over the other
Jon Ashley Feb 27, 2013
I know theres not a chance, but a limited production run of this would be sweet. I love the daytona coupe styling.
Matt Piccolo Feb 27, 2013
It's okay
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
It debuted in 2004 at the North American auto show.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
Hey Corey, you'll see that carbuzz doesn't always have their facts right... Agree with you on Erich
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
Nothing!!!
Terrance Parker Feb 27, 2013
We know what the became
Trent Griffin Feb 27, 2013
Not bad....I like it
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
Tyler claims to have seen this in 2002 and carbuzz says it debuted in 2005.. And Erich i don't even know what to say about that guy haha
Noah Roberts Feb 27, 2013
This is the only one I like
Ashton Summers Feb 27, 2013
Very shark-like.
Adam Thomson Feb 27, 2013
This is the best of them all, has to be.
Greg Kenerly Feb 27, 2013
Great stance. Love the attitude even while its sitting still.
Corey Alan Kelley Feb 27, 2013
They could start production today and people would buy
Jordan Nishida Feb 27, 2013
Looks great
Tyler Tarbox Feb 27, 2013
I remember seeing this at the Detroit Auto Show back in 2002. Walked up to it like that the hell is this lol
Jonathan Romero Feb 27, 2013
The first chrome factory paint job I ever got introduce too on a vehicle B)
Jt Collier Feb 27, 2013
if only this made production....
Jacob Burford Feb 28, 2013
Strange, but kinda of cool!
Guo-Sheng Huang Feb 28, 2013
I want this!
David Gomez Feb 28, 2013
Dat ass.....
Jordan Jackson Feb 27, 2013
So. Much. Want....
Craig Lafey Feb 27, 2013
Liking how thick those rear tires are.
David Parenti Feb 27, 2013
This thing would've been awesome
