Tyler TarboxMar 02, 2013 Last two comments were completely worthless and ignorant.
Petro MaaloufMar 01, 2013 You cannot get the VW polo in the us market ..... All theese cars are shit
Jake DulaMar 01, 2013 Love my Fiesta, got it when I was 18 (19 now). I'm not saying its the best at anything (maybe it is, maybe it isn't), but I love it for one simple reason: it's a cheap everyday car that WILL put a smile on your face. Simple as that.
David GuerreroMar 01, 2013 My first was a Toyota matrix. Ugh, the worst part is the automatic transmission.
Vince DeMasiMar 01, 2013 My first was a 94 firebird for 2k it got totaled when a girl ran a stop sign I got double what it was worth and now own a trans am and love it
William DownsMar 01, 2013 I got an 87 mazda mx-6 with a swapped in rotary
Sam BigginMar 01, 2013 The fiestas are bloody good cars!
I had a vauxhall corsa van, what a babe she was!
Nathan J. OlsonMar 01, 2013 Mine was a 1984 Toyota pickup with a plow up front. Nice first car/truck.
Steve LiollioMar 01, 2013 08 Toyota Tacoma when I turned 16... 4x4, sr5
Tyler TarboxFeb 28, 2013 It's really all down to how much your parents trust you. My dad trusted me with 500 horsepower and was generous with the funds. I never got a ticket
Tim PreisingerFeb 28, 2013 One of my buddies is building his sons future first car right now... A 600+ HP (isn't too sure how crazy he is gonna go yet) 1956 Bel Air. I am very jealous.
Erich EngelFeb 28, 2013 youre stupid any 964 carrera 2 isnt worth more than 25,000 unless it has <50,000 miles and 70s and 80's 911s are also in the 12,000-25,000 range, less expensive then 964 which is what i want, also 996 base models go for around 20,000 and they have some low mileage ones going for 20 still
Jdm JerryFeb 28, 2013 I have never met any one who's first car was more then $8000... In fact where I live $15000 cars are expensive
Jack HowardFeb 28, 2013 I'm surprised no one has a truck besides Tyler. I've got 01 F150 as my first.
Jt CollierFeb 28, 2013 @erich. let me know when you find a 20,000 dollar 911 that isnt a beater.
Tyler TarboxFeb 28, 2013 @David. Haha yeah I know what you mean. Same thing at my high school. The school I went to was in a very wealthy community so plenty of nice cars there.
Henz HerreroFeb 28, 2013 My first and last car was a msp, then ive since owned 4 suvs..
Henz HerreroFeb 28, 2013 You guys are jst talkig about fast cars.. Granted these cars arent fast but you get the techs and warranties that you might not get with used cars..
Shelby CassandraFeb 28, 2013 @David. My little brother just turned 17 Feb 7th and he has been driving an 08 Bullit package Mustang with right around 540 RWHP. Granted, my first car was an 02 Tbird though, so he is lucky.
Erich EngelFeb 28, 2013 I'd get a used 911 if I had 20 gs to blow on a car
Luis Enrique LaraFeb 28, 2013 I own a 2007 corolla since i am 16, I am 18 now and still love that car, not fast at all, but good mpg and equipment. It is great for Mexico City streets
David ParentiFeb 28, 2013 Tyler, you're just that lucky 1 in 100 kid lol. Back when y GF was in Highschool, there was a kid that drove a Maserati every now and then. But pretty much every kid at her school had a brand new car.
Drew HumphreyFeb 28, 2013 I'm 17 and my car has 400 horsepower lolz
Tyler TarboxFeb 28, 2013 I love my first car. Still have it. My 500 horsepower Lightning.
Bill Estep JrFeb 28, 2013 Yeah I was fortunate to have a 88hp hatchback I miss that thing lol
David ParentiFeb 28, 2013 Because first cars are not meant to have loads of HP. Would you put 300+ HP in the hands of your 16 yr old son or daughter. Granted, as a kid you want more hp. But as a parent it'd be a bad call.
John-Michael CunliffeFeb 28, 2013 Why pay that much for a first car when you could get a slightly older more powerful car for cheaper?
Wayne Joseph BoreanFeb 28, 2013 Microsoft? That's the kiss of death. Blue screen here we come!
Sam ReinselFeb 28, 2013 @Thai-Chau Ha the styling was done by the same guy that did modern Astons, and any Aston Martin you see today (minus the Cygnet) is as "Aston Ford", because the V12 is based on Ford V6 tech when Ford still owned Aston.
Wmg ChinchillaFeb 28, 2013 They did everything right with this car except for the name.
Thai-Chau HaFeb 28, 2013 Ford has no balls, just copy it 90% like the Chinese did. We won't complain. Call it a Ford-Aston
Christopher LikeaBoss ReberFeb 28, 2013 I would honestly take a Fiesta ST in a heartbeat. I'm sure it's a blast to drive and its very practical, not to mention fairly inexpensive.
Stephen CobbsFeb 28, 2013 You cant deny that it looks good though.
David ParentiFeb 28, 2013 Yeah I mistake the fiesta for an Aston all the time!
Hey look! It's an Ast...! Ah crap, got me again!

Jake DulaMar 01, 2013 I like the new look, definitely an improvement over the Aveo (tho that's not saying much), but recently talked with someone who had one for several years and said it was terrible. Said the ride, handling, power, equipment were all crap. He said he liked the way the interior looked tho lol
Sam ReinselFeb 28, 2013 I mean, you'd be nuts to get a 21k sonic, but 16k for the base one ain't bad.
Tyler TarboxFeb 28, 2013 I agree Ashton. Plenty other good options
Ashton SummersFeb 28, 2013 There are a lot of decent cars for $21k don't know why you would end with one these.
Vince DeMasiMar 01, 2013 I think this car looks better than the aveo, it's definitely a step up and really ray cause last I checked women have the same rights as men
William DownsMar 01, 2013 Stfu ray u sexist pile of shit, she has more of a rite then u do with a comment like that
Thiam Kah MengMar 01, 2013 I gt honda as my 1st car. But it cost around $30000.
Ray MorenoFeb 28, 2013 Women...no place talking about cars.
Jacob BurfordFeb 28, 2013 I kinda of like these, but id prefer the fiesta!
Lead PeddalinFeb 28, 2013 It doesn't look good, dude. As far as hatches go, it's horrible.
Jon AshleyFeb 28, 2013 I have a 1.4 turbo. My first car. Its slow, but its a whole lot of fun to drive, and as far as hatches go, it looks pretty good. Call me biased, but its a great first car.
Erich EngelFeb 28, 2013 Bikes should have bigger wheels I don't want 26' wheels on my car
Erich EngelFeb 28, 2013 but compared to the chevy SS this is shit i think its gunna set a new standard for chevy, at least i hope i hate the volt and the comaro's designs
Wmg ChinchillaFeb 28, 2013 I think it looks great considering the rest of GMs line up
Dylan BruderFeb 28, 2013 These are better than they look I've driven a few worth a look

Wmg ChinchillaFeb 28, 2013 These are great. Better still are the pre-09 models. Although, I must admit the sky active engines can really save some dough at the pump. My brother has one and his average combined mpg is around 32.
Erich EngelFeb 28, 2013 They are way off if I was to buy a Mazda it would be a miata for 2000$
Taylor RoselloFeb 28, 2013 I have 2 friends that have these, very good cars

Alex MamczurApr 02, 2013 The acceleration in the turbo engine is very good
Jake DulaMar 01, 2013 I've driven 2 of these, a base model with 2.0 4-banger and a "Rallye" with the 1.4 Turbo. Liked both a lot, the 1.4 turbo especially. Quick, comfortable, roomy, good to drive. The dash is horribly confusing and it had a MILLION buttons on the steering wheel, none of which I could figure out. In terms of "fun", I'd still take a Focus or Mazda3 in this class, but this is still a fun car.
Brian ThemoparguyMar 01, 2013 The dodge dart has been around for awhile.........not this 4 banger plastic
One though.......
I will Keep my 1969 Dodge Dart GTS
With Big Block V-8 power thank you very much..... Fully built street legal race car w/600 hp for less money.
Self built
Zach GathercoleFeb 28, 2013 Ive drove one if these theyre not bad but the chevy cruze is better pretty sure its more though
Sam ReinselFeb 28, 2013 Ah, yeah I meant hp. It's pretty good for a car it's size.
Jack HowardFeb 28, 2013 Pretty much every 4 door "econobox" is as good as the next.
Clay WilliamsFeb 28, 2013 @Judah. I think he means HP, all current darts have 160HP
William DownsFeb 28, 2013 There are a bunch of cars that are 4cylinder and rwd
Judah LindvallFeb 28, 2013 Um I hope your not saying this thing can go 160-180 mph lol km/h maybe?
Matt SuttonFeb 28, 2013 This would be my choice. If they come out with an srt awd, tuners everywhere will want to get their hands on it. Even the price of a fully loaded dart is pretty reasonable.
Sam ReinselFeb 28, 2013 A lot of stuff is standard for 16k. It's a great car, albeit not super fast, but 160 or 180 is plenty for a car like this.
Aaron CrispFeb 28, 2013 @Ben FWD with possibly an AWD option coming soon with an SRT version. I think these are the best 4 door compact ecoboxes you can get.
Ben MossingFeb 28, 2013 Are they fwd or rwd? They look like a rwd but it has a 4cyl
Jean RutoFeb 28, 2013 Brett, you sound as if this model has been around for a while.
Brett VincentFeb 28, 2013 Choice, at least, aesthetically wise, but I've heard the actual vehicles have an assortment of issues.
Stupid touchscreen and non-editable text...
Brett VincentFeb 28, 2013 I've always liked the Dodge Dart as an entry-level vehicle of coich
Dylan ReeceMar 01, 2013 This is a sexy car I don't care what you say haha
Jacob BurfordFeb 28, 2013 Not a fan of that small grille, but overall good value for money!
Benjamin Levin-O'LearyFeb 28, 2013 Scott i think youre from rural illinois. There are tons in chicago.
Corey BlomquistFeb 28, 2013 Scott- It's probably because all you've seen are pictures, actually see one in person, and you might just change our mind. I love how it looks!
Scott HelgeFeb 28, 2013 This car is so boring to look at. I never see them on the road here in Illinois and they're built here.
Clay WilliamsFeb 28, 2013 In my opinion this is the best car you can get for under 16K right new.
Jayson LanksterFeb 28, 2013 this car looks way better in pictures than in real life. I'd still take one though. my real only problem is that it's a lot taller than you would think and not as wide as it appears.
Jacob BurfordFeb 28, 2013 Agree! Prefer this rear to the front!

Jake DulaMar 01, 2013 Article I read quoted Kia as admitting to lying about MPG, so one of us has the wrong info.
William DownsMar 01, 2013 But agree its an ugly car, comfortable to drive but I would never own one
William DownsMar 01, 2013 Jake get your info correct, they haven't been lying about there mpg, they gave the wrong info just like ford did, was a misunderstanding of the cafe rating system, they didn't fight the lawsuits they Payed and even offered to buy the cars back
Jake DulaMar 01, 2013 If you've been keeping up with the brand lately, CB, you'd know that Kia has been lying about their MPG. Sorry, but that just ruins the brand's credibility for me. I didn't like before, and I'm sure not gonna buy one now. Not to mention it's absolutely HIDEOUS.
Dylan GomesFeb 28, 2013 i thought they stopped making the Element :S unless they're talking about a used Element
Clay WilliamsFeb 28, 2013 the soul would NOT be on my list of 5 good first cars...
Michael ZimmermannFeb 28, 2013 The Kia Soul absolutely does NOT look better than an xb, Element, or Cube. From the front, the Soul looks like an angry rat, and should be smashed with a baseball bat
Benjamin Levin-O'LearyFeb 28, 2013 Love this car. Especially compared to the xb and cube
Lead PeddalinFeb 28, 2013 Did you listen to techno when you drove your shitty car around?
Scott HelgeFeb 28, 2013 Why don't the hamsters get any love? I had a Soul for 2 years and its quite a practical vehicle. Lots of room for 4 and tons of tech features for under 18K.
Ha! Civic si's aren't even remotely fast don't even call them performance cars
If they want a sports car, they can buy it after university.

Why is the frs not here?
Haha Zach my first car is a BMW 528e I payed $750 for it
Affordable for me would be around 500 bucks lol
