Yeah i agree the Pagani is just insane handling wise. I would have the agera though i think its the most beautiful car right now
I love them both, but if it came down to it Koenigsegg is better. They develop all of their technology in-house, making huge innovations and designing and amazing looking car. Pagani makes a beautiful car, but don't have the same engineering finesse.

I love this red one. This, the matte blue one and the white with blue and red stripes are the 3 best Agera's in my opinion.
100% agree with that, koenigsegg to me is the best company out there, so much innovation in such a short time from such a small company, I can't imagine the car that replaces the Agera

To be fair, there are already turbos for 1200-1400 CC motors, with boosts ranging from 10LB to 30LB, that increase baseline power by 170-310HP alone. Now add that to baseline, at the highest boost = 190HP+310HP=500HP And people do run these, $3500

@Bill, before 1913 in the US, the govt gave you a license plate number and you had to make the actual license plate yourself. A carbon fiber license plate would have been legal then, dunno about now.
My vote goes to either the BLT edition or the "flash green" agera that resembles the limited paint option of the 2004 Volvo s60/v70 R. The latter being extremely difficult to find pictures of, but I think exists somewhere on koenigsegg's website.
I say just lose the stripes in any color, and this car is purrrrfect. I can't wait to visit Sweden next year...

@Trey Well I can maybe answer your question maybe the owners of Agera want to test 920hp before to see if they CAN handle it and after try 1200hp ;)
@Chris: That makes more sense, and considering if that may be the case, then why continue its production? Are they still making sales from it and that's why they're keeping it? My question at this point goes to the consumer: Why would you buy an Agera over an Agera R?
@Justin: Then what is the purpose of having any vehicle's hp existing above your standard 100-300hp economy vehicle? Would anything above be usable either? Sports cars aren't supposed to be utilitarian, they are built because people want speed, power, and/or status and that's it.
the agera came out before the r, and that took a lot of energy and resources to develop. maybe koenigsegg put out a finished product, but then continued to refine it until the R was born? makes sense
What more can you do with 1200hp than you can with 900 or whatever the agera has? Realistically that extra amount isnt gonna be that usable on the street
Then again, if you're blowing over a million on a sports car then its likely you're looking for the best of the best, so just have the Agera R... Where's the logic in budgeting an already enormously expensive car (built and purchased for speed/status) at second best?
If they're spending 1mil+ and avoiding power, they may wanna look at a manufacturer that isn't responsible for creating some of the most powerful sports cars.

I really don't see why the standard Agera exists. "I can afford the regular Agera for 1.4 million but 1.6 million for the R? Noooo way that's too expensive for my budget, I think I'll settle for second best at this tier of cars" -Anyone who can afford an Agera
