Focus ST TrackSTer by fifteen52 Heads to Chicago

Today’s hot-hatch king has been taken to the extreme by LA-based tuner fifteen52 partnered by Ford and Ken Block.

Ford Racing, in collaboration with Ken Block and fifteen52, will debut its Project ST TrackSTer at the Chicago Auto Show this week. One of a trio of Focus ST builds, the TrackSTer is the first car to come out of the Project ST campaign and will be "the hottest Focus ST anyone's seen so far." Aimed at the hardcore performance enthusiast, the TrackSTer includes a Ford Racing short-throw shifter and performance exhaust system, in addition to a Mountune engine build with forged rods and pistons, performance intercooler and upgraded ECU.

Other race-tested performance parts include a limited-slip differential by Quaife, a Centerforce custom clutch kit, four-piston front caliper brakes and fender flate from the Chinese Touring Car Championship Focus. Speaking about the car, Project ST partner Ken Block said: "With the TrackSTer, they've [fifteen52] worked closely with both Ford Racing and Mountune to put together a potent package that blends on-road performance with on-track performance. I can't wait to actually get this car out on a track and put it through the paces."
