Seriously CarBuzz? The whole car's been revealed and this was yesterday's top story...
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
Love the ATS and CTS-V! I couldn't care for the rest of there lineup! Will be interesting to see how this turns out!
Jack Howard Mar 25, 2013
The 3rd gen. The first was really angular
Tim Collgate Mar 25, 2013
So technically will this be the 2nd or 3rd gen?
Zaire Wilkins Mar 26, 2013
I see mercury
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
Full photos have been released! I like the front, but the sides and rear are a little flat and dull! Overall looks good, but far from the best looking cars in the class IMO!
Jimmy Case Mar 26, 2013
People who say this looks like the ATS and are praising European brands need to look at BMW for instance they've used the exact same design language for 20 years and even their SUVS included all look alike.
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
My choice for this class is the Jag XF and Audi A6. I feel that the 5-Series has lost a lot of favor in this class! I think it looks good, but doesn't have the driving characteristics a Beamer should have!
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
So far looks no different than an ATS, which isn't bad thing as the ATS is a handsome car, but I hope they will have enough to differentiate the two models!
Blythe Balchaitis Mar 25, 2013
Full shots are out and overall - looks good except the pllain back
Patrick Schalk Mar 25, 2013
Who says Europeans won't like this?
Jackson Michael Mar 25, 2013
Well if you're making a car competing with Europeans you'd probably want Europeans to like it, yes?
Connor Scanlon Mar 25, 2013
Well obviously... Cause it's an American car.... Lambo doesn't go hmm I think this is perfect for the streets of New York!
matthew barrett Mar 25, 2013
Definitely aimed at the US market, the styling won't appeal to Europeans
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Look at spy shots gives u a even better idea of what it'll look like its stance is a-1
Jordan Nishida Mar 25, 2013
That looks sick
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
This looks very nice.
Garrick Rainey Mar 25, 2013
I can see the Cadillac Sixteen Concept design cues in their cars now, especially in this one with the continuous LED Headlights.
Jack Howard Mar 25, 2013
The way the side lights turn into fog lights is pretty cool.
Ben Bright Mar 25, 2013
Awesome!!!
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Please hush with the Volvo crap sheesh
Adam Thomson Mar 25, 2013
The cheek of this car makes me think of Volvo lines.
Dylan Bruder Mar 25, 2013
Love the ats influence this looks promising
Connor Garrett Koerbitz Mar 25, 2013
Love the lights. So sick
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Looks like the ats
Austin Sullivan Mar 25, 2013
Yeah, I don't know how you got Volvo...
Cian Mac Gearailt Mar 25, 2013
Looks like the new CTS from this angle.
Adam Thomson Mar 25, 2013
Looks like a Volvo V70 from this angle
Description: The rear end design is more familiar, as it looks similar to those of the XTS and ATS. LED taillamps are featured prominently as is a center-mounted LED brake light. There’s just one shot of the inter...

Where's the ls9?
Jonathan Ippolito Mar 25, 2013
It will have the twin turbo 6 but it will have the forced induction LT1 V8 in the V series .
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
Andy missed it cause the article only spoke of a turbo 6. I also remember hearing about a twin turbo 6. Guess that won't be an option? Btw Andy, Go wings!
Jonathan Ippolito Mar 25, 2013
The V8 is not being dropped ! The V version will have a forced induction V8 !
Jack Howard Mar 25, 2013
Did you miss the part where it talked about the turbocharged 3.6L V6?
Andy Clouthier Mar 25, 2013
No mention of the TT v-6?
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
The V will Have a VEE 8 don't u worry
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
Always.
Jack Howard Mar 25, 2013
The ctsv will have a V8
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
I'm sure that will be saved for the CTS-V
Paul Trahan Mar 25, 2013
The V8 will most likely be in the CTS-V. They are only showing off the CTS line. The V will probably be debut a year later.
Jacob Viiper McCord Mar 25, 2013
No V8?.. why is everyone dropping V8s now?
Zaire Wilkins Mar 26, 2013
Well am i missing something here i dont see what is funny but ok
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
ATS grille!
Taylor Rosello Mar 25, 2013
I can't wait to see this in New York on Saturday
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Hey if u guys want to see some pics of the whole car, go to motor trend or download their app. They have these pics and some more previewing the whole car
Gazel Hebbert Mar 25, 2013
LOL a maxima. Haha. This guy is crazy.
Benjamin Hardaway Mar 25, 2013
Hahaha he said maxima !! wtf
Boyd Boudreaux Mar 25, 2013
Maxima!!! Lol!! I get it, you're a comedian you funny!!
Zaire Wilkins Mar 25, 2013
The best looking pissed of looking car is between a maxima and audi A8 or charger
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Lol Colby, merc, BMW and Lexus out sell caddy by good anount (10k,8k, and 4k a month respectively) Acura and Audi are both within 2k monthly sales
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Yea this gen 5 series's isn't that nice
Freddy Garcia Mar 25, 2013
It reminds me of an Audi
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
Who wants a wimpy looking car? Maybe someone who doesn't care much about cars. It's nice to see Cadillac still leading the pack. I know their competitors must be pissed. It must be hard watching Cadillac take most of their sales. Haha
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
Lol, I agree with Patrick. The new CTS easily looks twice if not three times as good as the 5 series. And when I buy a car, I go for aggressive, along with most people. People like cars that look pissed off. It can make anyone feel like a badass.
Garrick Rainey Mar 25, 2013
Wow this is intriguing
Tom Ippolito Mar 25, 2013
Wow all the other luxury makers better watch out Cadillac is out for blood lately this thing looks awesome so far
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
Boyd. Correction. A supercharged V8. :) ...I hope
Boyd Boudreaux Mar 25, 2013
Ok I feel better, I can just see and hear the rumble of a cammed out v8 under that beautiful hood.
Zaire Wilkins Mar 25, 2013
Nothing earth shattering
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
5 series isn't that nice looking this gen
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Yes britany u are
Dylan Bruder Mar 25, 2013
I sat in and investigated the ats and flimsy dash didn't come to mind it was a solid car very nice that said in really liking what I see
darrellbell24 Mar 25, 2013
they only thing I do not like is how similar this and the ATS lights are....other than that, this is beautiful
Zeus Mocha Mar 25, 2013
I didn't even know a new CTS was coming out. NY auto show should be exciting with this, the camaro facelift, etc. btw this looks very nice so far. Final judgements will go after revealing.
Lucas Raggio Mar 25, 2013
I would prefer the five series over this but it looks really good so far
Stephen Cobbs Mar 25, 2013
It looks mean as hell
Miko Reginella Mar 25, 2013
If the CTS gets the same interior as the ATS, every competitor in its class will destroy it. The whole center console is no flimsy
Ben Doolittle Mar 25, 2013
Yes please, as a sport wagon w/ a turbo six & six speed M.
Vinny Coppola Mar 25, 2013
Big Cadillac fan, this looks great! I love it!
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
Looks fantastic so far! Can't wait to see the whole thing!
Jonathan Ippolito Mar 25, 2013
Boyd there is a V8 it will be a forced inducted version of the LT1 from the new C7 Stingray Corvette and in the new CTS-V !
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Just because this is an aggressive looking car doesn't make it a better looking car.
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Actually no
Patrick Schalk Mar 25, 2013
Yes Brittany, look again.
Patrick Schalk Mar 25, 2013
Boyd, they just came out with a new TT V6 making 420hp and 430lb ft of torque. Not too shabby I say. The 5 Series looks better if someone were blind. They aren't anywhere near this aggressive looking.
Brittany Sawyer Mar 25, 2013
Am i the only one seeing chevy cruze hints?
Boyd Boudreaux Mar 25, 2013
Looks like this, no v8!!! Damn come on GM
David Parenti Mar 25, 2013
The front end coming to a point reminds me of a merc. Or a big ol black freight train. Looks mean and aggressive. Where do I sign up? (Ford guy)
Tanton Stoneman Mar 25, 2013
If it looks this good stock, I can't wait to see the new CTS-V
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
5 series looks better than this as it sits. Have to wait to see the whole thing.
Vince DeMasi Mar 25, 2013
Agreed! Even from the little I can see it looks more defined
Patrick Schalk Mar 25, 2013
5 Series can suck it. This thing is gorgeous
Dennis Hsu Mar 26, 2013
It looks like GTR'a light! But looks awesome!
Jack Howard Mar 26, 2013
You're such a tool. Anyways Mercedes has their place. They're good luxury cars with some mean AMGs but Cadillac as well as many other brands also builds some nice cars. You can't deny that the CTS-V is a great car.
Daniel Frisco Mar 25, 2013
Jack your an ass , everyone else look into history Mercedes invented the Automobile Google it duh . Mercedes has never been bankrupt and never needed a bail out please they will NEVER beat the Germans !
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Coming equipped with 420 HP (weed power) can't wait to see the v 600 horses maybe
Craig Lafey Mar 25, 2013
Come on show it already. I have to go to the New York autoshow to see it.
Corey Alan Kelley Mar 25, 2013
I thought it was Oldsmobile not Mercedes or even Ford (which most people confuse as the inventor)
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
That's right Oscar. Join the dark side! Cadillac > BMW (...not sure why caddy is the dark side, just felt like saying that)
Jon Wheel Mar 25, 2013
I think I like
Oscar Galvan Mar 25, 2013
I'm a BMW fan and I'm hating the fact that I'm liking this more than the current BMW design (−_−#)
Oscar Galvan Mar 25, 2013
Looks good
Ryan Spencer Mar 25, 2013
Wait, they know this is the CTS, not the ATS, right? Someone may want to tell that to caddy's design team...
Daniel Frisco Mar 25, 2013
I will take the 2014 Mercedes E instead nothing can beat the inventor of the Automobile . "When only the best will do " Mercedes Benz for ever !
Ben Bright Mar 25, 2013
Beautiful!!
Arick Voigt Mar 25, 2013
Eat your heart out, Germany! This is spectacular looking.
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
The V is going to be amazing!
Ryan Sansossio Mar 25, 2013
Doesnt Holden have a front end like this? Might be wrong
Dylan Bruder Mar 25, 2013
I'd have to see the whole pic for those lights I could see it work though
Tommy Thompson Mar 25, 2013
Can you imagine what the V will look like? :D
Zeus Mocha Mar 25, 2013
Aww man this is looking good
Corey Alan Kelley Mar 25, 2013
I really like it
xenozonda Mar 25, 2013
this made me think of a train engine...
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Yea I'm not really feeling those
Nick Rowe Mar 25, 2013
Not sure about those side lights
Matt Piccolo Mar 26, 2013
Wow, ur just a complete dumb ass. There're multiple American cars I don't dislike. Stop hating.
Jimmy Case Mar 26, 2013
Bringing up the vette.
Jimmy Case Mar 26, 2013
Haha dude click your name and read every comment you've ever commented an an American car it's always a biased statement with no reasoning when noones even comparing the car you say you'de rather have. It's just as annoying as the other kid always
Matt Piccolo Mar 26, 2013
I don't think this is a bad looking car
Matt Piccolo Mar 26, 2013
Jimmy, I never said I disliked this car? I said I'd take an Audi over it? Stop hating on people for not having the same taste in cars as you. God.
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
@Jimmy And your not annoying? Matt might be biased against American cars, but your extremely biased for, so I wouldn't be talking!
Jimmy Case Mar 26, 2013
Mattis quickly becoming the most annoying person on this app with his hate of American cars.
Taylor Rosello Mar 25, 2013
I don't see Audi here
Benjamin Hardaway Mar 25, 2013
As far as looks go this is better than Audi unless you have trouble seeing.
Tim Preisinger Mar 25, 2013
I would take this over an Audi any day! But yes... Where do you see Audi here?
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
I'd take an Audi over this any day. And where are u seeing Audi in this ahah
Tyler Wallace Mar 25, 2013
Ppl are killing me with these ridiculous ass comparisons where is Audi
Jordan Nishida Mar 25, 2013
See a little ats and xts
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
Ha, way better than Audi IMO.
Paul Dickey Mar 25, 2013
Where?
Juan David Viguie Mar 25, 2013
Kind of audi :/
Jacob Burford Mar 26, 2013
I like Cadillacs new design language when it comes to the front, but not as much for the back! There not bad, but the rear headlights are too small! I was behind an XTS the other day, and I could barely see the indicator!
Jack Howard Mar 25, 2013
Colby your love of GM cars is on par with Jack Brandon's love of Ferraris and BMWs. It's pretty annoying. At least you're good with backing up your statements though
Andy Clouthier Mar 25, 2013
I think it will look better when you can see the whole body line coming off of the top of the taillight.
Dylan Bruder Mar 25, 2013
There's nothing wrong with it it just has a mature look to the back no need to throw diffusers and wings on a classy car save that for the v and make it agressive
Shelby Cassandra Mar 25, 2013
But Colby, you would like anything that GM comes up with so it doesn't count. Looks a lot like something an old guy would drive.
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
I don't think these are bad at all. Nice evolution. And I'm not 70, so you're theory is a little off. And I'm also sure that it will look better from a distance when you can see the whole rear end with the rest of the car.
Paul Trahan Mar 25, 2013
Yea definitely prefer the current tail lights compared to these. On the current CTS if you look at the side profile the tails actually look like fins reminiscent from the old Caddies.
Matt Piccolo Mar 25, 2013
Back looks off. Might b better from a different angle
Cian Mac Gearailt Mar 25, 2013
Maybe if they go back to making v8 coupes that weigh 3 tons with soft suspension people might buy them for the fun
Zaire Wilkins Mar 25, 2013
Their not suppose to its called moving forward.
Ryan Sansossio Mar 25, 2013
Cadillac was better in the old days. Period. While they make decent cars today they are nothing like the old school.
Justin Stone Mar 25, 2013
I think you called it just right. Looks cool and promising up front; and tragically oldmanish from behind... Are we coming to the end of what will be known as Cadillac's brief resurgence as a Design house?
Miko Reginella Mar 25, 2013
I see a little XTS
Ben Doolittle Mar 25, 2013
Agreed Jack. These are bland (especially compared to the highly stylized front) & do nothing for brand recognition.
Jack Porteous Mar 25, 2013
I prefer the current tail lights that reach up horizontally onto the rear deck. They're much more aggressive and are a trademark of modern Cadillac design.
Cian Mac Gearailt Mar 25, 2013
Kinda make it all young and stylish at front and make the back appeal to old men in there 70's
Taylor Rosello Mar 25, 2013
The stitching looks great!
Jason Brown Mar 25, 2013
At least the door looks nice. Don't leave the windows down in the rain...
Jonathan Ippolito Mar 25, 2013
Finally a Cadillac with a proper looking interior and Quality that is appropriate for this class ! Yay ! First the Corvette gets a proper interior and now the CTS ! GM is really stepping up it's game .
Colby Church Mar 25, 2013
Yes Max, and it looks sexy. I'm impressed with the way they put the materials together.
Jordan Nishida Mar 25, 2013
Love the stitching
Max Jabaay Mar 25, 2013
Is that real wood?
Lee Oleinick Mar 25, 2013
Impressed by the stitching
Zeus Mocha Mar 25, 2013
Overall I wouldn't prefer wood trim in a CTS but when there is wood with gloss it pisses me off. Tapping it really doesn't help much.
Ryan Sansossio Mar 25, 2013
Agree with boyd. My lincoln has gloss finish, cadi did too. U had to tap them to reassure yourself they were real and not plastic
Dylan Bruder Mar 25, 2013
Looks good
Tommy Thompson Mar 25, 2013
Agreed
Boyd Boudreaux Mar 25, 2013
Love the satin finish on the wood always found the gloss made interiors looks cheap
