Need to get somewhere fast in Moscow? For about $200 you can get picked up by a fake ambulance that doubles as a taxi.
Even compared to other major global cities, traffic in Moscow really sucks, and if you’re not a government official or some other high-ranking individual with serious connections, it could take quite some time to get where you need to be in the Russian capital. But like anything else in this world, money talks and can easily make that traffic-infested city commute much, much easier. It turns out there’s a black market business in Moscow for fake ambulances that really serve as expensive taxis.
For roughly $200 USD, you can get yourself a ride in an ambulance with its flashers rolling and blaring and all. Despite the convenience for some, local doctors and other medical care professionals are obviously less than enthused.
