Wah wah wah
Paul Dickey Mar 31, 2013
Two things, nope not a dj(never claimed to be) and yes I actually am black so...
Logan Lauer Mar 30, 2013
And you guys thought I was being argumentative. Hahahah
Eddie Ethree Motors Mar 29, 2013
I crashed in a modified Lexus IS going 145mph n walked out with a concussion broken nose n wrist so not as fatal as you'd think
Paul Dickey Mar 29, 2013
You can do better than that can't you?
Paul Dickey Mar 29, 2013
Yeah nxs take notes on that.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
@nxs And as for the comment deleting, they are simply trying to have a place with nice debates and thoughts, not a war zone of comments bashing eachother's personal lives and so on. Things shouldn't get personal on here. This isn't ArgueBuzz.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
And it's also free, so why complain about the occasional typo? It's okay to point them out, but you don't have to be mean about it, we're human, shit happens. It's not like the typos physically hurt us...
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
They aren't falling behind? The automotive world is a big place, and sometimes they are forced to pick and chose between articles, so others might have to appear a different day. I'm sure running this app is harder than you think.
Logan Lauer Mar 29, 2013
No disrespect. It's a great app with some cool people. Lately they've been falling behind is all I was trying to say. Kcco
Logan Lauer Mar 29, 2013
Ah. I just figured it was because I called car buzz a direct ripoff of motortrend and jalopnik (among others).
Clinton Burger Mar 29, 2013
I heard at 50 miles an hour you have a 50-50 fatality chance, I'm guessing the odds are against your favor at 240
Logan Lauer Mar 29, 2013
Did half of the comments on this disappear or is it my app getting weird?
Monoman Xenon Mar 29, 2013
Haha thanks Shawn, I like the app a lot already, but I do see some of the types of people you mentioned :)
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Damn that's a high speed to wreck during.
Shawn Sullivan Mar 29, 2013
Monoman, welcome and enjoy some good car loving people and many more whiners and complainers!
Monoman Xenon Mar 29, 2013
Hi guys, new to CarBuzz
Tyler Wallace Mar 30, 2013
Rap star rims lml white folks smh
Aj White Mar 29, 2013
@Steve I see no "rap star" rims as u put it. I do c a set of performance wheels and tires though.
Dylan Bruder Mar 29, 2013
He coulda been talking about the camaros name which would make sense about eating mustangs lol
Lou Guerrero Mar 29, 2013
David, coulda said the GT but you had to be a fan boy about it lol
David Gomez Mar 29, 2013
Too bad those camaros can't catch that stang
Steve Minnis Mar 29, 2013
I think having performance oriented front wheels and tires might have aiding in the controllability rather than rap star rims.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Hahahaha, nice observation. Looks like a car version of a National Geographic wildlife documentary.
Memo Cabrera Mar 29, 2013
Looks like those Camaros in the back are about to eat that Mustang alive
Description: Imagine that for a moment and consider what a crash like that must have looked like. According to its builder, KP Racing, the modified F-body Camaro managed to hit 263.2 mph last October and earned it...

Antonio Falsetti Mar 30, 2013
Thank the men that built that strong roll cage.
Jorge Gonzalez Mar 30, 2013
Damn he survived that? That's crazy I bet he has a new appreciation for life after that.
Rodrigo Allen Mar 29, 2013
Can you imagine what was going through his mind?
Dylan Bruder Mar 29, 2013
Crazy
Jake Judges Mar 29, 2013
I remember him doing this and then drifting it at 250 because the car lost control
Tim Preisinger Mar 29, 2013
Amen to that
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Thank God for roll cages.
Dylan Bruder Mar 29, 2013
Poor beast
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
I love this body style. Badass.
Jackson Michael Mar 29, 2013
Blech old camaro
Greg Lewis Apr 02, 2013
I'd so drop that in a civic!
Thai-Chau Ha Mar 30, 2013
Stock cowl dash!
Marcos Collazo Mar 30, 2013
Stock alternator?
Sean Bray Mar 30, 2013
I stand corrected. Next pic shows the bottles
Sean Bray Mar 30, 2013
I bet it was a ls9 converted to twin turbo with an o ringed block and some serious head studs. It had a large water to air cooler and from the looks of the pic no nitrous or blowers
Earick Smith Mar 29, 2013
I bet a 572 big block but I've never seen a gm crate one with coil packs, maybe a 502 big block, but I'd still bet a heavily modified 572 to get 2800hp, that's crazy, big blower and lots of nitrous lol!
Lou Guerrero Mar 29, 2013
Man, they got that sucker pushed back in there. Good job.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Actually, after I said that I looked, and I don't think I see any windshield wipers. I think those are just some type of tools or parts sitting there. They don't look like wipers.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Lol, nice observation.
Jason Dykhoff Mar 29, 2013
I think the windshield wipers are stock
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
With 2,800 horsepower, this thing probably has very, very few stock parts. None of which are internals for sure.
David Munasinghe Mar 29, 2013
@Kyle. It should be "was stock" cos it it according to carbuzz and the pics "FUBARED".
Matt Sutton Mar 29, 2013
Id say a fuse maybe.
Tim Preisinger Mar 29, 2013
Maybe a hose or two lol
Kyle Rawn Mar 29, 2013
I wonder how much of this bad boy is still stock?
Greg Lewis Apr 02, 2013
That's oxygen for when the car took off...
Thai-Chau Ha Mar 30, 2013
Stock fuel cap!
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Go baby Go!
Dylan Bruder Mar 29, 2013
The gallery pics are nuts
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
The steering wheel is removable making it not too bad to get into. The wheel on my champ kart is removable. With the cage I can't get in it without removing the wheel. It makes a huge difference.
Dalton Michael Mar 29, 2013
Looks comfy
Brandon Davidson Mar 29, 2013
Well I guess that's what it takes to survive a 240 mph crash...
Matt Sutton Mar 29, 2013
Human tetris
Kyle Rawn Mar 29, 2013
Very carefully
Zeus Mocha Mar 29, 2013
It's annoying but not hard.
Frank Lulaj Mar 29, 2013
How do you get in??
Greg Lewis Apr 02, 2013
It died a warriors death. Songs will be sung about this hero!
Tommy Thompson Mar 30, 2013
How do you survive this with "minor injuries" only?
Max Jabaay Mar 29, 2013
Sort of looks like modern art
Pajtim Hed Thaqi Mar 29, 2013
All I can say is haha
Felix Rhett Mar 29, 2013
Haha Ryan your crazy! There's no way that will buff out It's wrecked!
Eli Bonner Mar 29, 2013
It looks like they pulled it from the bottom of the ocean...so sad.
Ryan Yee Mar 29, 2013
That will buff out
Carlos Dorantes Mar 29, 2013
Call Geico STAT!!
Faviola Gonzalez Mar 29, 2013
Wow how sad :/
Dylan Reece Mar 29, 2013
This made me cringe
Lou Guerrero Mar 29, 2013
That's why you use AN fittings on serious builds. They'll outlast the car. Heartbreaking to see.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Damn I really wish someone would've captured this wreck on video....
Juan C. Alcantara Mar 29, 2013
Well there's your problem, the alternator isn't secured tight enough. I see this happen all the time, easy fix.
Michael Horne Mar 29, 2013
WOAH. Car? What car? I'm willing to bet that driver needed a change of pants after experiencing that! Wow...
Clinton Burger Mar 29, 2013
It's just a scratch, I don't think you'll need my insurance
Matt Piccolo Mar 29, 2013
Ahah oh shit!
Joe Hero Mar 29, 2013
HorsePOWDER, don't breathe this!
Anthony Perugini Mar 29, 2013
Will it blend?
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Yeah Facundo is definitely not American. I love Camaros. Pity to see this one demolished. It looks like it was put in a giant blender for a few seconds.
Jacob Keith Miller Mar 29, 2013
I'm not European, I'm American. And I agree
David Munasinghe Mar 29, 2013
@Facundo. You must be a European.
Patrick Schalk Mar 29, 2013
Goo! That's crazy
Adam Ramey Mar 29, 2013
Most of that will buff out........probably
Caner Ozdemir Mar 29, 2013
All it needs is a roll of duct tape and a little WD-40 😆
Nick Rowe Mar 29, 2013
@tanton no just no
Tanton Stoneman Mar 29, 2013
I couldn't even tell it was a camaro. But this still isn't as ugly as an Alfa Romeo SZ.
Joshua Jackson Mar 29, 2013
@john IT Crowd! I thought I was the only US person that knew about that show... Classic. Haha
Kyle Rawn Mar 29, 2013
Dude is very lucky
Zeus Mocha Mar 29, 2013
What a beauty gone to waste.
Nick Rowe Mar 29, 2013
That'll buff out
Facundo Planas Martinelli Mar 29, 2013
Its a Camaro, nobody is going to miss it. Hopefully the driver is ok!
Xavier McDaniel Mar 29, 2013
The roll cage saved his life
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
Wow, that driver is lucky to be alive
Nick Sti Mar 29, 2013
All it needs is a radiator and front end.
John Hyland Mar 29, 2013
Did you try turning it off and on again?
Stephen Cobbs Mar 29, 2013
Someone grab the Windex. I think it'll be alright.
Lou Guerrero Mar 30, 2013
Nick, I said that in the voice haha
Aj White Mar 29, 2013
@Aaron Props....
Aaron Crisp Mar 29, 2013
@Kyle I guess that type of saw would be called a CarBuzz.....
Faviola Gonzalez Mar 29, 2013
You can hardly tell that's a camaro
Kyle Jones Mar 29, 2013
Yeah you'll would need about 5 jaws-of-like and a couple of buzz saws to extract that engine lol
ejc6 Mar 29, 2013
shame
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Idk, it's hard to decommission a block... However he was going 250mph too. Who knows, they probably won't fool with it anyway to find out. Scrap yard time.
Dale Schroeder Mar 29, 2013
I'm pretty sure that engine block is toast. Maybe you could salvage a pulley or two off of it.
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the engine is salvageable though. Obviously not all of it is.
Nick Rowe Mar 29, 2013
Tis but a scratch
Taylor Rosello Mar 29, 2013
That'll buff out
Luis Daniel Angilello Mar 29, 2013
Shift knob still good
Colby Church Mar 29, 2013
Good thing it was too. You know that guy probably almost shit himself when he started to lose control. I would've been terrified.
Caner Ozdemir Mar 29, 2013
One damn sturdy roll cage
Luis Daniel Angilello Mar 29, 2013
Spiderman was there!
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
But these are yellow, kinda charred.
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
Yes, carbon fiber wrapped aluminum. The firefighters at my work use carbon fiber wrapped oxygen tanks. They look just like these.
Aaron Weslow Mar 29, 2013
Not carbon. Carbon fiber wrapped. There's steel or aluminum under there.
Dillon Olson Mar 29, 2013
And this is why we use carbon fiber tanks.
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
Oh hah now I see.
Dalton Michael Mar 29, 2013
How in the hell did those survive lol
Maria Garcia Mar 29, 2013
David I think they're referring to the part in the first movie when the green eclipse catches on fire and then it blows up and they blame the explosion on the nitrous tanks.
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
I dont understand the Fast and Furious reference... Lots of people use nitrous to make quick cheap power. A good nitrous kit costs less than a cheap turbo/SC setup. Some using turbos and SC's still run nitrous.
Mark Donnelly Mar 29, 2013
At least something here is salvageable.
Matt Sutton Mar 29, 2013
I think the webbing, well, WAS a nice touch.
Barry Boo Wilson Mar 29, 2013
This isnt fast and furious lol.
David Parenti Mar 29, 2013
Nice ass tanks
Sam Oglesby Mar 29, 2013
Lucky these didn't blow
