BMW M3 GT 500 by Leib

German tuning specialist devises a comprehensive package for the M3 coupe.
German tuner Leib Engineering has unveiled its GT 500 program for the BMW M3 Coupe. Performance upgrades come in the form of a stainless-steel exhaust system featuring a 100-cell HJS catalyst, X-pipe with center silencers and a rear silencer with vacuum-controlled flaps. The driver can also control the volume of the system via the car’s M button. The exhaust adds 27 hp to the 4.0-liter V8 and, along with a remapped ECU, total output increases from 414 to 470 horsepower.

Minor interior upgrades include Alcantara-trimmed BMW Performance seats and steering wheel. Leib also upgraded the chassis, adding Brembo GT brakes, a stainless-steel KW adjustable suspension, revised ABS software to reduce braking distances, and tweaks to the dual-clutch box’s electronics to minimize gear change times.
