@John I love the back and the whole car. I am thinking to put an order in on August, just waiting to see if there is any major problems with the 1st year model

Boring
Mathew Cameron Hebb Jun 10, 2013
I admit that I was disappointed at first as I had really high hopes. But, after looking at all three models side-by-side, I can definitely see how the new gen has improved. I didn't realize how dated the previous X5 looked until now... good job BMW.
Saqar Khudairy Jun 10, 2013
I'm starting to love it
Nihal Pradhan Jun 09, 2013
It's growing on me
Cian Mac Gearailt Jun 08, 2013
Well my dad has the first generation with the 3.0D it is horrible uncomfortable impractical inefficient so on but it is pretty darn good to drive and can only be matched by a cayenne. Theres only one reason why most people buy them the driving
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Now I live in Barnegat Township, NJ. Much safer town.
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
NJ. Born in Camden. Got out of there as soon as I could. Too dangerous of a city. I just wished my parents would leave that crime infested shithole.
Stephen Healy Jun 08, 2013
Tyrone is from NY or NJ
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Fakir, not everyone from NJ and NY are a holes. There are bad drivers everywhere you go. Stop being so closed minded and ignorant.
Willie McGonagill Jun 08, 2013
I really love BMW but, "founded a new vehicle segment, the sport activity vehicle." Haha thats bogus. What is a sports activity vehicle? An SUV without the utility?
Carlos Dorantes Jun 08, 2013
Is this a commercial or what???
Fakir Smith Jun 08, 2013
Shame like everything else it had to keep getting bigger and fatter. Oh well I look forward to seeing A holes driving them with New Jersey and New York plates.
afzel.khan Jul 27, 2013

Ahmed Sharif Jun 10, 2013
It's nice better than the x6
Artie Stowell Jun 09, 2013
Looks nice in white!
Andranik Ando Vasilyan Jun 09, 2013
Them ugly ass fog lights
Jacob Burford Jun 08, 2013
A handsome SUV now looks like an enlarged X3! Boo
Kevin Lavier Jun 08, 2013
Not the best but stil sooooooo much better than the previous 2
Michael Nascimento Jun 08, 2013
It doesn't look spectacular now, but like the Porsche Panamera, it will grow on you.
Zaire Wilkins Jun 08, 2013
This has to be the worst looking SUV
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Definitely not that good looking.
Tim Hooker Jun 08, 2013
I see alot of ugly in the frontend...also the middle and the back
Rob Clark Jun 08, 2013
I see a lot of Durango in the front end.
mohd.almarzooqi Jun 09, 2013
Where did the fat tyres go it was making this car look so much sporty? I bet they are saving it for x5m
Cian Mac Gearailt Jun 08, 2013
Doesn't look like a BMW or the generic front, rear and sides found on yes every other BMW model
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Doesn't look like a BMW.
John Lanzetta Jun 08, 2013
This is the first car where I've actually liked the last generation better. Nobody could possibly like the back
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Oh damn.. This is the 2nd generation. Okay let me put this clearly now.. I like the 1st generation the best. I don't like the 2nd or 3rd generation.
Jacob Burford Jun 08, 2013
Much better than the new one
Brennon Aucoin Jun 08, 2013
The first*
Brennon Aucoin Jun 08, 2013
@tyrone, you don't like the the one before this one but you like the 1st generation which is the one before this one?
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Sorry if the way I said it was confusing..
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
@Tim No no no... I'm saying I don't like this one and the one before it. I like the 1st generation.
Tim Hooker Jun 08, 2013
Well there had only been past two so I take it you don't like the x5
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Not for me. The past 2 generations have been terrible to me.
Tim Hooker Jun 08, 2013
This too is my favorite
Jun 08, 2013
My favorite gen of X5
Brennon Aucoin Jun 08, 2013
The turtle
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Yeah the tail lights actually look like a BMW's.
Rob Clark Jun 08, 2013
This rear end looks way more muscular than the new one, plus I also prefer the more conservative taillight design.
Adam Thomson Mar 31, 2014
My friend has one.... In blue
Cian Mac Gearailt Jun 08, 2013
2005/2006 in grey with tinted windows looks better then the next two generation by far
Vinny Coppola Jun 08, 2013
But I like the facelift version I think that was 2005-2006
Vinny Coppola Jun 08, 2013
This was the best looking X5, after this they sucked
Scuttle Buttocks Jun 08, 2013
Weird lookin
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Favorite generation by far.
Janya Pulusu Jun 08, 2013
My favorite X5
Aadil Hafiz Jun 08, 2013
But it does look dated compared to modern SUVs.
Stephen Cobbs Jun 08, 2013
Still*
Stephen Cobbs Jun 08, 2013
Srill looks great.
afzel.khan Jul 27, 2013
oh! this is old
Bala Uncc Jun 09, 2013
For some reason the rear always reminds me of Honda odyssey of that time. Not a big fan.
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Thank you, Trevor btw...
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Yup I was right. The X5M didn't get made until 2010.
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Disregard that z btw...
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
@Matthew I'm pretty sure they didn't do an M series for this generation. It definitely started with the 2nd generation, the E70z
trevor.miller.169 Jun 08, 2013
quad exhaust was on the V8s
Matthew Midgley Jun 08, 2013
@tyrone yes they did do a x5M
Tyrone Smith Jun 08, 2013
Was quad exhaust an option on these X5s? They didn't make an X5M..
Alanna Galligan Jun 08, 2013
They don't really look that different but somehow I love the 2013 model
