Opt for the ZR1’s LS9 block cranked up to 1,000hp, and you’ve got yourself one wicked track-day toy.
Aimed at supercar owners in need of a special track day toy, the Aspiron is an open-top two-seater created by Czech-based Corvette-tuner Innotech that will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week. Hand built to customer’s exact specifications, the Aspiron marries a racecar-inspired spaceframe chassis wrapped in a body trimmed in plenty of carbon fiber with a range of Chevy V8 powertrains that will blast drivers around the track of their choice all day long.

From the 500-hp 6.2-liter LS3 taken from a base Vette to the ZR1’s LS9 upgraded to 1,000-hp, buyers can even request custom built engines based on LS racing blocks. Depending on spec, the Aspiron weighs between 760 – 860 kg, resulting in a power-to-weight ratio exceeding 1hp per kg, while all that grunt is sent to the rear wheels via a Ricardo 6-speed manual tranny. Priced from $149,000 to $204,000, the Aspiron is available in a spectrum of colors and finishes, with base models featuring 18-inch OZ Racing Alleggerita alloys, high-performance race brakes, adjustable carbon-fiber front and rear wings, carbon-fiber seats, 6-point racing harness and touch-screen multifunctional dash data logger.
