Published: Aug 08, 2013
Description: A few years back, a number of brand-new Ferrari 458 Italias caught on fire. Just like that, a fire broke out in one of the rear quarter panels that quickly spread to the rest of the car. And just lik...

So what Ferrari had some minor problems that led to fires. They realized it and fixed it and those who lost their ferraris due to the fire most likely got new ones

i bet guys at lambo funded for this video..
ferrarienthusiast7 Aug 09, 2013
lol funny
Hoang Ton Aug 09, 2013
As in any accidents I hope there were no fatalities.
Dan Alleman Aug 09, 2013
Just like that, huh?
Steven Eppler Aug 08, 2013
Meh...not that funny...
Austin Sullivan Aug 08, 2013
It makes me laugh when Ferrari isn't as perfect as everyone tries to say they are.
PatronofPetrol Aug 08, 2013
Clever.
barrasali Aug 08, 2013
I don't like this
Description: The guys over at Bureau of Speed hired a guy to "speed draw" a 458 Italia, and things didn’t go exactly as planned, or did they? At any rate they sure got their 5 bucks worth. Check out the video ahea...

What a waiste of time!
Alberto Gasca Jr. Aug 08, 2013
If you guys want raw performance and power. Mclaren f1 LM
Jason W. Evers Aug 08, 2013
I haven't driven either...
Herbert Beltran Aug 08, 2013
Just because the MP4 performs beter doesnt mean its a better car. Its really about the driving experience with supercars. It should be raw, visceral. And the ferarri captures that beautifully the MP4 while stupid fast is a little more numb. F
Adi Bulusu Aug 08, 2013
Agreed, Brian.
Tim Preisinger Aug 08, 2013
I like both the 458 and mp4... Would have to drive both to decide
Nick Schnee Aug 08, 2013
What are you guys smoking? The MP4 is superior in every possible way. Ferraris are for posers anyway.
Austin Sullivan Aug 08, 2013
MP4 anyday. Looks better, cheaper, better performance. I've seen them both in person. Ferrari is just glorified for being Ferrari. The MP4 is better.
Rahul Patel Aug 08, 2013
I'm with Eli.. 458 over Mp4
Ben Knorr Aug 08, 2013
As much as I love the mp4, Eli might be right. At least, journalists seem to agree with him. If you offered me either one I'd go for the McLaren for sure.
Eddie Ethree Motors Aug 08, 2013
Eli in what way? I know a lot of people say looks n soul or heart of the car but in every single category the mp4 wins from quarter mile, track, braking and so on.
Oleg Odessit Aug 08, 2013
Creative
Eli Bonner Aug 08, 2013
Funny how it's still better than the MP4
Will Will Aug 08, 2013
Funny how when the paper first caught on fire he was still colouring.
Dennis Choong Aug 08, 2013
This car generates about 360kg of downforce at top speed w/o using wings or a massive front splitter. You've got to admire their design for that
Dennis Choong Aug 08, 2013
@Austin- do u see the vent above the wheelarc? At speed air is channeled from the "gap" & exit from the vent, gennerating downforce at the front to counter lift from turbulent air in the wheelarc
Jacob Burford Aug 08, 2013
Very sexy
Austin Sullivan Aug 08, 2013
To me it looks incomplete and ugly.
Ryan Bertram Aug 08, 2013
@Austin I believe that helps with down force and design wise I kinda like it
Adi Bulusu Aug 08, 2013
Such a beautiful car, a pity it catches on fire so often.
Austin Sullivan Aug 08, 2013
They still need to fix the gap between the hood and the headlights.
Ben Knorr Aug 08, 2013
hmm Lewis behind the wheel of a Ferrari. I think he'd jump at the chance. Oh to see another Lewis/Alonso pairing!
Justin Mancuso Aug 08, 2013
No, Lewis has a chinstrap
Scuttle Buttocks Aug 08, 2013
Maybe pitbull...
Rishi Sawla Aug 08, 2013
Is that Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel ??
Craig Lafey Aug 10, 2013
That's a shame
rvuch46 Aug 10, 2013
it's so funny that Carbuzz is happy to see the Toyota Matrix go, but loves a car that bursts into flames. tell Ferrari to build their cars more like Toyotas and maybe their cars will stop catching on fire so much
Steven Eppler Aug 08, 2013
Sad to see this....Hopefully they've found the cause of these fires and fixed it by now....
Jacob Burford Aug 08, 2013
This cars is hot.....literally!
Salami Jones Aug 08, 2013
You think humidity causes fire lol... That's pretty funny right there.
Adi Bulusu Aug 08, 2013
Hurts to see.
Hossein Emadian Aug 08, 2013
Still looks good
Ben Hislop Aug 08, 2013
Hey Dairan! That's my line!
Darian Vorlick Aug 08, 2013
Oh the humanity
Will Will Aug 08, 2013
That's one hot ferrari. I think he picked the 'fire red' colour scheme.
Adam Thomson Aug 08, 2013
See you in hell...
Antonio Falsetti Aug 10, 2013
Yea like he traced over it
Cameron Vandygriff Aug 09, 2013
Does anyone else notice the actual Ferrari drawing underneath
