Rimac e-M3 is World's Quickest EV (Oct 18, 2012) It's not as much electric cars for the future, it's hydrogen fuel cells and electric motors. The hydrogen is actually safer than gasoline, the cell has double the efficiency of combustion, and it gets 3 times the mpg.
