Next Madaspeed3 to Arrive in 2017(Aug 27, 2014)Stefan, Subaru most likely won't even be using the 2.5 by 2017. The new WRX is already using a direct injected 2.0 boxer 4. Subaru claims they have squeezed all the potential out of the 2.5 that is still being used in the STi. I'm sure the STi will
Broken Corvette Stingray Could Be a Bargain(Feb 03, 2014)I wouldn't pay that for it. Are you crazy?! 1 it's used 2 it's got a lot of $ worth of damage 3 it's gonna have an ugly carfax. When it's all said and done you will end up paying what a new one costs.
2015 Subaru WRX STI is AWD Awesomeness(Jan 15, 2014)V exactly right. I think most people picture themselves drifting around a mountain dirt road before buying an STi. Once they buy it, it turns into an over polished road queen. Most people won't ever see the true potent of the STi.
2015 Subaru WRX STI is AWD Awesomeness(Jan 15, 2014)I wonder if Subaru is keeping the unequal length header design on the STi. They are using equal length headers on the next gen WRX for better engine efficiency. I'm gonna miss the "rumble".
2015 Subaru WRX STI is AWD Awesomeness(Jan 15, 2014)Aaron, you are correct. I guess after the easy power bump on the WRX, the only thing to possibly be desired on the STi is the center diff control. However, most people that buy a STi don't drive it in a way that requires you to adjust the diff.
2015 Subaru WRX STI is AWD Awesomeness(Jan 15, 2014)... will be much more desirable. I owned an '11 WRX and the 5 spd in that thing felt like I was shifting gears in a bucket of rocks. Not to mention it isn't near as strong or reliable as the STis 6 spd.
2015 Subaru WRX STI is AWD Awesomeness(Jan 15, 2014)I have a feeling a lot of people will opt to save money by getting the WRX (non STi), and giving it a conservative tune. Sounds like the new 2.0 will have a lot of potential and now that both models come with the 6 spd, the WRX...
Shelby GT350 Set to Replace GT500(Dec 19, 2013)I am tired of seeing posts saying the new mustang looks like a Fusion or a Taurus. It does have similar design cues but that is called brand identity. That's like saying a BMW 1 series looks like a 3 series.
2015 Ford Mustang is Here(Dec 05, 2013)I can't believe how many people hate the new design. I personally like it. Everyone isn't going to agree on how the new mustang looks, but there's no denying 420hp, IRS, 6spd manual, and all for around $30k, is an awesome deal.
2015 Mustang Has Been Leaked(Dec 04, 2013)Joan you clearly have no idea what v4 means. The "V" before the number of cylinders specifies the cylinder configuration. As far as I know, there aren't any modern day 4 cylinder cars with a "V" configuration. Just inline and horizontal (boxer) 4 cyl
Subaru Does Awesome Concepts, Boring Production Cars(Nov 24, 2013)Everybody loves to be a critic. Subaru is still in business and isn't going anywhere soon. They are doing something right. Makes me laugh when I hear people say every car should be RWD with 400+ hp and priced under $25k
It's Official: Ford Focus ST a Hit in the US(Nov 12, 2013)Rocco you obviously don't know anything about leasing or warranties for that matter. A lease vehicle needs to be returned to the dealer in 100% stock form, unless of course you decide to buy it at the end. As far as warranties go....
Could the Mazda RX-8 Return as a Rotary Hybrid?(Sep 26, 2013)Gary, I don't know if I would call the RX7 a success. NA rotary engines aren't very reliable, not to mention turbo charged rotaries. There is a reason Mazda isn't using them right now.
New Ford Mustang Comes into Focus(Aug 27, 2013)A lot of mixed reviews. I personally like it. I don't think Ford took the muscle car out of the Mustang. It just doesn't have the classic muscle car look anymore.
Audi A1 Quattro is a Little Bit Mad(Jun 03, 2013)This might rub a few die hard Audi fans the wrong way but I would never spend $55k on this. For nearly half the price, you could get a 5 door STi. Both are hatches and both have AWD with a 6 spd manual. However...
