GM Dropping Chevrolet in Europe(Dec 05, 2013)We got small Chevys all over the place in Denmark. Opel is gaining market too. The insignia have been named the best "company car" of the year 3 years in row now i believe. Ford isn't really near the size of GM here.
RWD Tesla Model S Won't Kill You in the Snow(Nov 30, 2013)David: ever heard of taking care of your vehicle? In Denmark salt is on the roads 2-3/12 months a year. We are protecting out cars with special undercarriage protection. Some cars still begin to rust after 10 years though.
BMW M235i Racing is What "M" is All About(Nov 22, 2013)Alpina is not for racing. They are everyday sport cars. Softer and smoother than M-cars.
This bad boy is perfect. The price is high, but the i6 engine is brilliant. I'm sure it's worth all the money. Nevertheless, I prefer fun driving with good (..)
Vauxhall Astra VXR Should Be a Buick Hatchback(Nov 17, 2013)Why do carbuzz keep calling them vauxhalls? It's Opel who develops the car and it is sold as a Opel in Europe except the UK where they put another batch on it. There is no car manufacturer named Vauxhall.
The OPEL Astra OPC is a cool car though.
New Porsche 911 Speedster is Coming(Nov 15, 2013)You want mid engines Porsche? Go to the cayman. They have refined the 911 through years with that exact engine position. Changing that would ruin it.
Let it be a 911.
MP4-12C Burns 5 Gallons Of Fuel In 30 Seconds(Nov 10, 2013)Stupid. The thing compensates for the amount of fuel used at the moment and calculate your estimated amount of range from that. Says almost nothing about the content for fuel in you tank - until everything reaches zero.
Lexus Pondering an LS-F for 2016?(Nov 01, 2013)Wouldn't the it be the GS that should be compared to likes of Audi A8 and S-class?
I've driven a 2008 GS350 some times, and it's as comfortable as it gets. Lovely car.
Nismo In Charge of R36 GT-R Development(Oct 22, 2013)Needs to be a 2+2. A good way to work around heavy taxes in 2 seaters in some countries.
When nismo is in charge, you know this car will own the track. Can't wait.
Nissan Prepping GT-R Nismo For New Ring Record(Oct 12, 2013).. is awesome. They make track focused cars and do it extremely good. The GTR racer are actually slower to 60 than the street version. 0-60 time isn't that important on a track like the ring.
Clarkson Drives McLaren P1 for Top Gear(Oct 12, 2013)So Brian, just as an example: so you're saying that it isn't the 3 hosts driving on the Monte Carlo race track with professionals as co-drivers? And you're saying they aren't the one who did the "street racing" in Spain last season?
What I think?
Definitive Proof the Stingray is as Good as is Believed To Be(Oct 08, 2013)He mentioned it himself: high temps gets to the engine. Turbocharged engines relies on compressed air. Temperatures plays a vital role in the density of air. Higher temps equals lower density and therefore less oxygen to the engine = low performance.
Hennessey Takes New Stingray to the Strip(Oct 03, 2013)Audi S-tronic (the better ones) are indeed better than a pro driver. Just to bring a more well known example on the table. Anyway.
The driver here surely knows how to drive anyway. He could properly have thrown a better time with a stick. (..)
Corvette Stingray Demand Creates Massive Waitlist(Oct 01, 2013)Not comparable to mail service. You use priority mail for important things. It's not important to get your sportscar before everyone else. It's not like something (except your ego) depends on it.
And yeah, it happens all around the globe. Doesn't(.)
Corvette Stingray Demand Creates Massive Waitlist(Oct 01, 2013)... Douchebag dealers giving a chance for douchebag rich guys to promote them self more by being 'one of the few' to drive a new popular model.
Social differences between countries I guess.
Corvette Stingray Demand Creates Massive Waitlist(Oct 01, 2013)Not really. Just pointing out some things about the American society which I dislike.
Higher demand requires a rise in price if production can't keep up - agreed. But it doesn't dictate a way to jump the line just by paying more. That's just (..)
Corvette Stingray Demand Creates Massive Waitlist(Oct 01, 2013)'Murica: the country in the modern western world, where money can buy you everything. Like in Africa. Or South America. Sad.
Not even the premiere minister of my country could jump a line. I think it's called equality.
It's So On: Corvette Stingray vs. Mustang Shelby GT500(Sep 30, 2013)Adrian: first model R35 did 0.98G, newest is 1.05G. Put the AWD and clever computer on to that, and I'm sure it will do faster cornering and slalom.
The spec-V does 1.13G on skidpad.

15 Year Old NYC Girl Mastering Radical SR3(Sep 28, 2013)Agreed. Really impressive for a 15 year old, but not more than that. If it has said 18 year old, I wouldn't have been impressed. Lots of flaws here and there. Looks like a lot of fun though!
Is Volkswagen Planning A 500 HP Super GTI?(Sep 28, 2013)They already offer AWD models of the Golf and A3, so I guess it shouldn't be too hard. Knew a guy who had a tuned VR6 (thinks it was 2. or 3. gen golf). It should be quite a rush.
Corvette Stingray Attacks the Nurburgring, Times a Secret(Sep 16, 2013)It's going to be a LOT more in Europe than the US. You can only be talking about American muscle being cheap way to get good horsepowers, because it's ridiculously cheap over there. It's probably going to be at the same level as a GTR over here.
Koenigsegg CCR Revo Makes A Pilgrimage Back To The Factory(Sep 15, 2013)Lucky guy. It's a little funny to see places you use to go yourself.
The gas station is nearby my parents house and I live en Copenhagen myself, so I'm obviously a lot downtown a the city hall (where the meet'n'greet is).
