The Acura MDX Sport Hybrid is an electrified version of the marque’s strong-selling luxury crossover. The combination of a 3.0-liter V6 engine and three electric motors endows the most powerful MDX with outputs of 321 hp and 289 lb-ft of torque. Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) system is standard, as is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The range begins with the seven-seater Technology Package. It gets 20-inch alloy wheels, LED puddle lights, Jewel Eye LED headlights, front/rear parking sensors, power-folding side mirrors, and a power moonroof. In the cabin, the leather-trimmed seats feature power adjustments and heating in front, while other convenience features include tri-zone automatic climate control, remote engine start, and safety technologies like rear cross-traffic monitoring. The Advance Package includes all these features but adds Milano leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and second-row captain’s chairs in place of the base model’s bench seat. Other enhancements to this model are LED fog lights, roof rails, and body-color lower trim.
