The base RDX is realistically all the car you need if you don’t mind a subdued exterior without any chintzy bits, but Acura includes some nice touches like a panoramic moonroof and a power liftgate even at the entry level. On the inside, it comes with a bunch of luxury features like dual-zone climate control, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, and the True Touchpad Interface, which is sure to infuriate all first-time users. Thankfully, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, making things a bit easier. The most impressive feature is the AcuraWatch safety suite, which consists of collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, low-speed autonomous braking, and a rear seatbelt reminder.
