The Type S is the driver's choice of the TLX lineup. Under the hood, you'll find a powerful turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that sends 355 hp to all four wheels via a ten-speed auto transmission with rev-matching. The Type S includes four-pot Brembo brakes and extra chassis bracing for added driver pleasure. The integrated dynamics system adds more aggressive driving modes, and the exterior gets a sport appearance package, a gloss black front splitter and rear diffuser, and a gloss black decklid spoiler. The open surface Diamond Pentagon grille is model specific, too, and there is an exclusive Tiger Eye Pearl exterior paint.
