The sole 4C Spider is currently the only sports car available from the Italian automaker. Featuring a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a mid-engine design, and plenty of lightweight materials, the 4C Spider has been honed for aggressive, high-speed driving. Power comes from a 1.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel-drive and a six-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission are standard.
With a removable black soft-top roof, the 4C offers a Targa-like driving experience. LED daytime running lights, alloy wheels, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a carbon fiber windshield surround define the eye-catching exterior. Inside, leather-upholstered seats provide plenty of support when cornering. The driver gets a seven-inch color information display, a rearview camera, cruise control, and rear parking sensors. Temperature regulation is taken care of by a single-zone manual air-conditioning.
