The ballistic GTA aside, the Quadrifoglio is the quickest and most powerful Alfa Romeo Giulia you can buy. As before, it sports a wonderful 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. With a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the Quadrifoglio will reach 60 mph in only 3.8 seconds.
Outside, the hot Alfa wears 19-inch alloy wheels and boasts a standard carbon fiber rear spoiler and quad-exit exhausts. An exposed carbon-fiber roof is optionally available. The sporty cabin comes with 12-way power-adjustable front Sparco race seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8.8-inch touchscreen display, navigation, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and many driver-assistance features. For an added cost, more driver-assistance features can be added, as well as Sparco racing seats or an exposed carbon-fiber roof.
The only optional package is one we'd recommend. It's called the Active Assist Plus Package. At $1,000, it bundles together the remaining driver-assist technologies that are missing from the standard specification. These include driver attention alert, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, and traffic-jam assist. Last year's Carbon and Nero Edizione packages are no longer available.
Some of the standalone options that look quite appealing include carbon-fiber Sparco racing seats ($3,500) and an exposed carbon-fiber roof ($2,000).
