The Valhalla will be a limited-production hypercar from Aston Martin, expected to go on sale sometime in late 2021. The car is the second mid-engined effort that has resulted from a partnership between Aston Martin and the Red Bull Formula 1 team. The Valhalla is also expected to make an appearance with Daniel Craig in a new James Bond movie.
We don’t know exactly how much power the car will put down, but we do know that it will be delivered by a twin-turbo hybrid V6 engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The hybrid system won’t be of the plug-in variety, because of the extra weight such hardware would require. The car is expected to be very light, as the F1 partnership should bring some of racing’s obsession with weight down to the production vehicle.
Only 500 of the cars will be produced, and if previous releases like this are any indication, many of them are likely already spoken for. There’s no word on the exact release date or production schedule, but we expect to start seeing the Valhalla in late 2021. Pricing starts at just shy of $1.3 million.
