There is no difference between the FWD and quattro models, apart from the obvious. Over the years, Audi has tuned its famous AWD system to near perfection. Audis no longer understeer like pigs, in fact, quattro enhances the driving experience these days. We don’t see the new A3 sedan as a performance car, however. The sprint to 60 mph is over and done with quicker in quattro guise, but not so much that you’d notice. The fuel consumption also takes a bit of a dive, but the car is otherwise identical in terms of specifications.
