The A4 range comprises three trim levels. These include the Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-pot is shared by the three, but the two higher trims get performance-enhanced tuning and deliver some extra power. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard across all trims.
In the ways of standard features, all trim levels impress and at base-level, the A4 boasts keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control and eight-way power-adjustable front seats with heating. Infotainment includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen that enables Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as HD Radio and Bluetooth streaming and two USB ports and a 10-speaker sound system are standard. A digital instrument cluster is added to the two higher trims along with Sirius XM, but it’s only the Prestige that boasts the standard inclusion on navigation and a 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system.
Standard safety features from base level include a rearview camera, city collision mitigation and frontal collision warning while the Premium adds rear-end collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist and lane keep assist. The Prestige adds semi-autonomous congestion, active lane change assist and adaptive cruise control.
