The Audi A8 is available in either the 55 TFSI or the 60 TFSI formats. Audi’s quattro all-wheel drivetrain is standard on both trims, along with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 55 TFSI gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that develops 335 hp and 369 lb-ft, though, whereas the 60 TFSI comes with a 4.0-liter turbo V8 that develops 453 hp and 487 lb-ft. Both engines come paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid motor.
The sedan rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with full LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. Standard features include cruise control, quad-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Audi’s virtual cockpit. Another Audi trademark is the dual-touchscreen infotainment suite that includes Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD Radio, and SiriusXM, paired with a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system. Valetta leather upholsters the seats, which include heated 18-way power front seats with four-way lumbar and memory. The safety suite comprises only a rearview camera, front and rear sonar, lane departure warning, and forward collision avoidance.
Available features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a head-up display, heated and ventilated 22-way power front seats, heated and ventilated rear comfort seats, and a rear-seat entertainment system.
