The 2018 Q3 is available in two trims: Premium and Premium Plus. The Premium is only available in a front-wheel-drive configuration. The FWD Q3 is offered in base Premium spec, Premium Plus, Sport Premium, and Sport Premium Plus. The Quattro-equipped Q3 starts in Premium trim, then moves up to Premium Sport, Premium Plus and finally Sport Premium Plus. The Premium comes standard with LED daytime running lights, leather upholstery, and climate control. Premium Plus adds full LED headlights, keyless entry, folding mirrors, a power liftgate and more. All trim and drivetrain configurations are eligible for the optional Sports package, which adds 19-inch wheels, front bucket seats, selectable driving modes and shifter paddles behind the steering wheel. Premium Plus gets the optional Sport Plus package that includes redesigned wheels, and a few select RS exterior bits.
Since Audi decided to can the Prestige trim package, it's had to subdivide and repackage the optional extras. The Convenience package is oddly enough included in both trim levels and consists of a few interior touches such as special aluminum trim, keyless entry, and ignition as well as some practical benefits in the form of a powered liftgate and auto dimming side mirror lights. The Sports package is really an appearance package with a fancy name and is made up of the following: 19-inch wheels, sport bucket seats in the front, a programmed sport driving modes and shift paddles behind the steering wheel. The Sport Plus package is only available on the Premium Plus trim and for $2,000 extra you'll get massive 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer tires, an RS inspired flat-bottom steering wheel, bucket seats, Audi drive select (that gives you a bunch of driving modes to select from), and the Black Optic exterior appearance which adds a load of sporty design features, the most notable being the RS roof spoiler.
