The 2020 Q5 offers a choice between three models, namely the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims. All models are equipped with the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine that produces 248 hp and 273 lb-ft, sent through to all four wheels via a seven-speed S tronic DCT.
The base trim is the Premium, with newly designed 18-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, and a power liftgate as standard features. Inside, leather upholstery and high-gloss decorative trims show-off the opulent nature of the cabin, whilst a three-zone climate control system keeps passengers comfortable. A seven-inch MMI infotainment screen allows for audio playback from CD, USB/AUX, Bluetooth or Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. It is fitted with cruise control, Audi pre sense basic and city suites, hill descent control, and a rearview camera. The Premium Plus swaps out the rims for 19-inch designs and adds a panoramic sunroof, while inside, the driver’s seat gets memory function and the 12.3-inch virtual cockpit makes an appearance. Navigation and SiriusXM are included, as is a larger 8.3-inch infotainment display. Other improvements include a hands-free liftgate, and front and rear park sensors. At the top of the range is the Prestige trim, which adds a power-adjustable steering column, ambient LED interior lighting, a premium 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio setup, and additional driver assists in the form of adaptive cruise control, park assist, a head-up display, and a top-view camera.
