The Audi RS3's interior is a bespoke place that focuses on performance driving and cutting-edge technology, and the latest model does not deviate from that aim. The cabin is sharp, aesthetically pleasing, and filled with comforts and tech galore. You'll first notice the dual screens, including Audi's Virtual Cockpit plus display behind the sporty steering wheel. Controls are angled towards the driver for easy access, and the sport bucket seats give the space a focused appeal. The panoramic sunroof and illuminated door sills create a welcoming and airy space for up to five occupants, although four would be the recommended limit for comfort. Visibility is good out the front, but there are some blind spots present, and the rearview camera will quickly become your friend.
While there is seating for five, it's best to put only two in the back seat if they're adults. Those in the front are held in place by power-adjustable bucket seats that offer excellent lateral support when blasting through a set of corners. Taller passengers will find the 41.2-inches of front legroom plentiful, but even in the front, headroom can be tight for those on the taller side. The RS3 offers a significantly tighter 35.1 inches of legroom in the back and even less headroom; your average-sized adults shouldn't have an issue getting comfortable in the back, unless you try to cram in three abreast. Getting in and out of the RS3 can be arduous for six-footers and above as it's a low-slung vehicle.

Audi is renowned for its solid build quality, especially when it comes to the interior, and the 2023 RS3 is a good showcase of its talents. The interior of the RS3 is decked out in extended leatherette and Dianimica material, and there are flashes of aluminum across the inside, including the door sills. A black cloth headliner complements the stealthy exterior look and is accented by carbon atlas structure inlays and stainless steel pedals. The sport bucket seats are covered in Nappa leather with honeycomb stitching and RS embossing and can be selected in black with express red stitching, black with micrommata green stitching, or black with super black stitching. We did notice some cheaper plastics around the cabin, but they are tucked away where you're not always going to be looking, which suits us just fine.
This compact executive sedan will spend most of its life in the city, where it will most likely travel between the home and office, with the occasional weekend trip thrown in. As a daily commuter, the RS3 needs to offer at least a semblance of practicality, and behind the rear seats, you'll find a sprinkling of it. The trunk of the 2023 Audi RS3 Sedan offers 8.3 cubic feet of space, which is enough for a trip to the grocery store or a set of golf clubs, but not much more. The split-folding 40/20/40 rear seatbacks collapse to offer even more space.
Inside the cabin, you get standard storage features such as door pockets, a glovebox, and a center console storage bin. You also get two handy seatback pockets.

The modern-looking interior of the Audi RS3 is also filled with some cool tech features. The Audi virtual cockpit sits behind an RS-specific three-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles, and a panoramic sunroof lights up the otherwise dark interior. The illuminated aluminum front door sills show off some cool RS badging and three-zone automatic climate control keeps things cool. You also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Nappa leather upholstery with heated front power seats, and some nifty carbon trimmings. As far as driver assistance features go, Audi includes its pre-sense basic and pre-sense front systems as standard, as well as park assist and active lane assist with emergency assist. Adaptive cruise assist and park assist are included.
The RS3's infotainment system consists of a 10.1-inch color touchscreen display that runs on Audi's MMI software. This system features full Audi smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a house-brand sound system, SiriusXM 360L with a three-month trial subscription, and a wireless charging pad. Those that want more performance out of their stereo can opt for a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D sound that adds a ton of richness and depth to the overall sound.
The RS3 has only 8.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which is less than the previous-gen model, and also smaller than some rivals.
The Audi RS3 offers seating for five, but with tight dimensions in the rear, it's best to have only two adults in the back row.
