2023 RS5 Coupe Safety

At present, no version of the Audi RS5 has undergone comprehensive testing at the NHTSA, and the same applies to the normal A5 Coupe. Over at the IIHS, there is no Audi RS5 Coupe review either, but there is one for the similar A5 Coupe; fortunately, it got the best possible score of Good in its crashworthiness tests and was named as a Top Safety Pick+ for 2023. This designation is the highest achievable at the IIHS.

2023 RS5 Coupe Key Safety Features

As standard, every Audi RS5 comes with the usual amenities that you'd expect: a rearview camera, tire pressure monitoring, rain-sensing wipers, and the usual stability and traction management systems. You also get Matrix-design LED headlights with Audi laser light, lane departure warning, and forward collision detection and mitigation. 2023 RS5 Coupe Reliability

Thus far, the 2023 versions of the RS5 have been free of recalls, but the 2022 RS5 Coupe was subject to one for an incorrect load carrying capacity label that could lead to the car being overloaded. 2021 models were much worse off, suffering five recalls. The issues here were for an inoperative rearview camera display, a rear axle that could be misaligned, a seat belt locking retractor malfunction, rear axle lock nuts that could break, and a rear light wiring harness missing scuff protection.
