The Audi S5 lineup consists of three trim levels, including the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige models. All models are powered by a 3.0-liter V6 that sends 349 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. All models boast the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, twelve-way power-adjustable and heated seats, push-button start, and cruise control. A 10.1-inch touchscreen runs Audi's MMI system, allowing for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth streaming. Sound is channeled through a ten-speaker sound system as standard.
Upper trims gain the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster of the Audi virtual cockpit, and a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system is fitted to the top trim. Standard safety features across all models include six airbags, a rearview camera, Audi pre sense city, and Audi pre sense basic. Lane departure warning is standard fare, too, with adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and a surround-view camera being added from the middle of the range.
Audi provides a host of additional packages for the S5 lineup, but none are allocated to the entry-level trim except for the Convenience Package ($2,500) that bundles together a heated steering wheel, advanced keyless entry, a driver's seat memory function, Audi side assist and rear pre sense, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, an alarm system, and SiriusXM.
For the Premium Plus and Prestige, you can add a $550 Warm Weather Package that upgrades the interior to Hoxton leather, and adds ventilation to the front seats. Replacing the previous Black Optic Package is the $1,800 Black Optic Plus Package which comes with 20-inch wheels in a bi-color finish, black exterior trim, black mirror housings, and black exhaust tips. Another new addition is the Audi Sport Interior Package which goes for $900 and comes with a Crescendo Red stitched interior and RS Carbon inlays. The S Sport Package goes for $2,500 and will equip the S5 with red brake calipers, an adaptive damping suspension setup, and a sport rear differential. Dynamic steering can be had for $1,150 but requires you to fit the S Sport Package, too.
If you want to add navigation to the Premium Plus, you'll need to fork out another $1,500.
