Unfortunately, the NHTSA has not performed comprehensive safety reviews on the Audi S7 or A7, with only a side crash tests on the latter resulting in five stars. Over at the IIHS, things are similar with no Audi S7 review completed, but at least the 2023 A7 was fully rated here. Buyers will be happy to know that this model earned a prestigious Top Safety Pick+ award for 2022 and carries full marks in all but the rating for headlights.
NHTSA safety ratings are not available at this time.
Safety features are plentiful on the S7 with frontal, side-impact, front-knee, and rollover airbags as standard. Rear side-impact airbags are standard from this year for a total airbag count of ten. All models come with HD Matrix-design LED headlights with auto high beams, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, and the usual traction and stability management programs.
The mid-level Premium Plus adds adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance and a top-view camera system with a 360-degree virtual view, while the top-spec Prestige gets a head-up display and intersection assist. It also adds remote park assist plus. Additional packages can be equipped in the lower half of the range to expand the driver's assist suite, but some items are only available to the top trim.

Nobody wants to spend this much money on a car only to discover that it is plagued by reliability issues. Fortunately, the 2023 model was recall-free at the time of writing, and 2022 models had just one issue relating to the S7 Sportback - a control module shutdown could reduce engine power and increase the risk of a crash.
In the event of an issue arising, the S7 comes with a limited and powertrain warranty that provides coverage for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, four years of roadside assistance are also offered.
