2023 S8 Exterior
Despite a makeover for 2022, the Audi S8 still looks too sedate for the beast it actually is. S models have traditionally been more conservatively styled in comparison to their hardcore RS siblings, but we feel like Audi could have added a bit more spice in the mix here since there isn't an RS version. However, the updated grille and bumpers do look classy, and the wheel designs complement the S8's sleek profile. Standard exterior features include quad exhaust outlets, electrically adjustable, power-folding, heated exterior mirrors with auto-dimming and memory, HD Matrix-design LED headlights, OLED taillights, dual-pane acoustic side and rear glass, and 20-inch five-double-spoke design, graphite gray wheels. The Black Optics exterior package adds a dash of black for a more aggressive look. A power panoramic sunroof is standard.

The S8 is a full-size luxury sedan that shares similar dimensions with its fiercest German rivals, the Mercedes-AMG S63 and the BMW 750i xDrive. Total length is measured at 209.5 inches, width comes in at 76.6 inches without considering the mirrors, and height is pegged at 58.5 inches.
The S8 doesn't pretend to be anything other than a large cruiser and - stretched out over a 123.2-inch wheelbase - it tips the scales at a hefty 5,126 pounds in curb weight.

Exterior Colors
The Audi S8 is offered in eight different exterior colors, and Audi also offers an exclusive paint option, which gives new buyers free range at a cost of $3,900. All colors on offer in the standard palette are cost-free, though, and these include District Green, Florett Silver, Firmament Blue, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Ultra Blue, Vesuvius Gray, and Daytona Gray Pearl. We think the S8 looks best in darker shades, and we're particularly fond of Firmament Blue.
