2023 SQ5 Sportback Reliability
There are currently two recalls on record for the 2022 Audi SQ5 Sportback, and these relate to a rear lid that is improperly manufactured and a control module shutdown that can reduce engine power. The NHTSA explains that the gateway control module is vulnerable to liquids that may be spilled on the rear bench or from under the body. This would cause the entire unit to shut down. Owners will have to take their cars in so that the module can be housed in a protective cover and add extra sealant to the underbody seam. No recalls had affected the 2023 model at the time of writing.
