New for 2019, Audi has introduced the base Premium trim to the SQ5 line-up, mirroring the specification of the regular Q5 Premium. This brings down the cost of entry but still gives you a performance SUV with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, all-wheel-drive, adaptive suspension, six-piston front brakes, and SQ5-specific bodywork for a little added aggression. However, Audi cuts corners by not offering a sunroof, and by giving buyers the seven-inch touchscreen MMI infotainment system with ten speakers and basic functionality. But you do get Audi’s pre sense basic and city collision avoidance systems, tri-zone climate control, and a power tailgate, and what you don’t get as standard you can add via the options list.
