There are a few minor differences that separate the M240i from the M240i xDrive. The biggest change is the addition of a standard all-wheel-drive system and a slight price increase, but the all-paw version is also only available with the eight-speed automatic gearbox. The xDrive’s ability to utilize all four wheels allows it to reach 60 mph a tenth of a second faster than its RWD counterpart. It shares most of the same standard features with the RWD M240i, including the standard M Sport package that improves handling, along with bigger brakes.
