Features are carried over from the 440 it to the xDrive variation, only with the inclusion of the all-wheel-drivetrain. The 3.0-liter turbo six-cylinder engine is the favored option over the 430i’s four-cylinder, as it is more potent than the 2.0-liter of the lower trims, and exhibits a far more favorable soundtrack. It is, however, it’s considerably less fuel-efficient. The 440i xDrive stands taller than it’s rear-wheel-drive rangemate and has a slightly improved ground clearance, but in almost all other ways, the 440i xDrive is identical to all proceeding models.
