The differences are few between the 430i and the 430i xDrive, as both are powered by a 248-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, and both are identically equipped with simulated leather, dual-zone climate, power-adjustable seats, LED headlights, and a power sunroof, among other things. But there is one difference, and that’s that the xDrive nomenclature gives the 430i greater all-weather prowess, adding a driven axle up front when conditions require the extra grip. It also loses out on the no-cost option os a manual gearbox, outfitted exclusively with the excellent ZF eight-speed auto.
