BMW sells the 5 Series midsize sedan in two hybrid trim offerings with both the 530e and 530e xDrive equipped with the same standard features and powertrain, a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with electric supplementation providing 248 hp to the rear wheels in standard guise and all wheels with the xDrive suffix.
The German sedan is styled with LED headlights and taillights as well as 18-inch wheels as standard for the exterior as well as a panoramic sunroof. Moving to the inside of the 530e twins, SensaTec leatherette upholstery comes standard, along with 16-way power-adjustable front seats and dual-zone climate control. Standard infotainment features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central display, smartphone integration via Apple Carplay only (though according to BMW, Android Auto will become available later in 2020), Bluetooth, two USB ports and a 12-speaker sound system. Standard features include cruise control, push-button start, and park distance control.
