The 840i marks the entry into the 8 Series lineup and is the only spec to come with RWD as standard. It’s the most frugal of the bunch in terms of fuel economy and asking price and offers a number of luxury and standard features including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and HD Radio functionality. The 355-hp 3.0-liter turbo sends power to the rear wheels and enables a run from 0-60 mph in around five seconds. This isn’t an all-out performance model, but it’s certainly not sluggish.
