The M5 is the best-equipped 5 Series sedan and comes with many features as standard. M-specific features include the 19-inch alloy wheels, M gills and spoiler, M steering and brakes, and the M differential and adaptive suspension. It has automatic LED headlights, push-button start, remote start, and driver-assistance features such as a head-up display, automatic wipers and high beams, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming interior and right-hand-side mirrors, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. It lacks the latest iDrive 8 curved display of other BMWs, but still has twin 12.3-inch displays - a configurable digital gauge cluster and touchscreen with smartphone integration, navigation, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
