Additional Packages
Besides the extra-cost paint and interior trim options - and those $4,500 carbon front seats - a few extra-cost features are offered. The Active Driving Assistance package can be added for $100 and incorporates pedestrian detection and city-collision mitigation. Adding the $1,700 Driving Assistance Professional Package to this brings with it semi-automatic steering assistance for partially autonomous driving, cross-traffic alert, an evasion aid, Parking Assistant Plus, Active Park Distance Control, active blind-spot monitoring, a surround-view camera system, and lane-departure warning. It requires having added the aforementioned Active Driving Assistance Package, however.
The M Carbon Exterior package adds a full carbon-fiber front blade, air curtain, tailpipe finishers, and mirror caps, along with an upgraded diffuser insert at a cost of $5,400. Carbon-ceramic brakes add a hefty $8,500 to the bill, and an M Driver's package includes a high-speed driving course and a speed limiter raised from 155 mph to a heady 190 mph - all for $2,500.
Heating can be added to the rear seats for $350, making it one of the cheapest optional extras. The standard audio system can be replaced by a 16-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround-sound system for $3,400. Finally, brake calipers can be specified in black or red, the Alcantara headliner can be color-matched to the upholstery.
