2023 X3 M Exterior
Depending on your taste, the latest X3 M will either be garish or possess just the right amount of attitude. The X3 has been one of BMW's more conservatively styled models for years, but the combination of the M additions and the 2022 facelift to the entire lineup has changed this. The grille is large without being absurd, the headlights and taillights are striking, and there are vertical side air intakes. The detailing below the grille looks rather busy, but the X3 M is an attention-grabbing vehicle, especially in one of the vivid paint colors. LED headlights, M quad tailpipes, an aerodynamic kit, and 20-inch wheels are all standard. With the Competition Package specced, the X3 M gains larger 21-inch wheels and extended Shadowline trim. A panoramic moonroof is available.

Alpine White and the bright Sao Paulo Yellow are no-cost options, while $650 nets you Carbon Black, Black Sapphire, Dark Graphite Metallic, Marina Bay Blue, Toronto Red, and Brooklyn Grey from the metallic palette. If you want to stand out, the Sao Paulo Yellow is a must - otherwise, any of the darker shades serve the X3 M well.
