Additional Packages
Most shoppers will only care about the popular Competition Package, and why not? It may cost $7,000 but it unleashes the best of the X4 M with 503 hp and a 0-60 time of only 3.7 seconds. You also get 21-inch wheels, an M sport exhaust system, M sport seats, M seat belts, and extended Shadowline trim.
Of course, the base model X4 M is plenty fast enough on its own, so you could skip the Competition Package and enhance it with the $1,700 Driving Assistance Professional Package. This adds radar-based assistance, including an evasion aid and a lane control assistant. The $2,250 Executive Package, meanwhile, gets you automatic parking assistance, gesture control, a head-up display, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. Together, these two packages represent pretty decent value.
For $2,500, the M Driver's Package raises the top speed and gets you a one-day professional driving class at BMW.
