The M40i is the flagship trim in the X4 range. It has a 355 hp turbocharged 3.0 liter, six-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and also comes in all-wheel drive only. The M40i builds on the features in the xDrive28i but adds a Harman Kardon sound system, Nevada leather upholstery, keyless entry and ignition, and ten-way power-adjustable front seats. It also comes with the M Sport Package included, which adds adaptive suspension, sports seats, aerodynamic exterior trim, and an M steering wheel.
