Additional Packages

Only the base model in the range is offered with the $1,850 Premium package that includes a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, soft-close automatic doors, gesture control, and a rear electric sunshade. The Harman Kardon system can be exchanged for a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system instead for an additional $3,400. The Executive package adds features such as a panoramic Sky Lounge LED roof, rear electric window sunshades, massaging front seats, glass controls, heated and cooled cupholders, and the same choice of audio systems as available with the Premium package at a cost of $3,950 on the xDrive40i. It costs only $2,100 on the M60i because this trim already has some of the features.

The xDrive40i is eligible for the $1,350 M Sport Professional package, which adds M Sport brakes with your choice of black or blue callipers, and M Sport exhaust, an illuminated kidney grille, and extended Shadowline trim. This package costs only $300 on the M60i, which already has some of these features.

Both trims have access to the $1,700 Driving Assistance Professional package that adds cameras and radar to enable partially automated assisted steering with lane-keep and lane-change assist, emergency-stop assistance, and an evasion aid to help avoid accidents by detecting other traffic and pedestrians. Both trims can also opt for the $1,600 Climate Comfort package, which adds ventilated front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, and five-zone climate control that adds separate HVAC controls for the third row.

The $900 Parking Assistance package adds surround view with 3D view and an automated parking assistant to the xDrive40i and is standard on the M60i.

Many of the above package contents can be had as standalone options, along with a host of others, including second-row captain's chairs, a leather dashboard, running boards, and a trailer hitch.
