The Zevo 600 has not been tested by the NHTSA or IIHS but comes with an impressive list of standard safety features that should make it as safe as of safer than its contemporaries.

Delivery drivers have to deal with a lot on the streets every day, so BrightDrop made the van a safe space for its occupants. This delivery van comes with all the latest in safety tech, starting with basics such as the StabiliTrak stability and traction control system with hill-start assist. An HD rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, and a tire-pressure monitoring system are also included, as are automatic LED headlights with auto high beams. Driver-assistance features such as forward-collision alert, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-zone steering assist, LED reflective windshield collision alert, cruise control, a following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist, and a pedestrian safety signal. A surround-view camera and adaptive cruise control are optional extras.

The Zevo has been recalled once for a faulty high-voltage connector that can prematurely corrode. BrightDrop is yet to announce what type of warranty cover it will provide customers purchasing the Zevo 600.
