The Cadillac CT6-V sedan is the high-performance variant of the CT6 range that comes packed with a newly-designed 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 developing 550 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Performance is class-leading and the handling has also been sharpened up to take advantage of the massive power on offer.
Equipped as standard with magnetic ride control, adjustable suspension damping, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and high-performance Brembo brakes, the CT6-V is just as capable in the corners as it is in a straight line. You get LED headlights, dark exterior trim finishes, and a rear spoiler to differentiate the V from the rest of the CT6 range. There are plenty of luxury and safety features too, although the Super Cruise suite of driver-aid systems is not available on this model. Pricing for the first 275 units was set at $88,790 excluding destination charges and due to strong demand, Cadillac may produce another batch of cars although they will start at a $4,000 premium.
