Available in either rear- or all-wheel-drive, every model of the Cadillac Escalade is powered by the same engine. The 6.2-liter V6 engine comes mated to a ten-speed automatic gearbox and develops 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. The 2020 range comprises Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum trims.
The entry-level Standard trim rides on 20-inch alloys and lights the way with LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights. Roof rails and a hands-free power round out the exterior features. Inside, the SUV comes upholstered in leather, with 12-way power heated front seats, heated rear seats, and tri-zone climate control. Conveniences include keyless entry and remote start, a 110-volt power outlet, and cruise control. The infotainment suite is comprehensive, centering around an eight-inch touchscreen that comes installed with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Audio is played back through the 16-speaker Bose sound system, and includes HD Radio and SiriusXM as standard. Automatic parking assist, front and rear sonar, and a surround-view camera make up the safety suite.
Available features at higher trim levels include semi-aniline leather upholstery, 18-way power front seats with massage functions, a power sunroof, a head-up display, a wireless charging pad, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision avoidance, and a rear-seat entertainment system.
